The official Japanese Hyrule Warriors Twitter account has tweeted that the first free update to the game will include a brand new game mode. Details are scarce regarding what we should expect, but it’s certainly a nice touch by Koei Tecmo and Nintendo.

I hope it’s the grass cutting challenge mode Aonouma mentioned in the Direct that was scrapped. Because it sounded great. A mode that involves smashing pots would also be nice.
