Nintendo of America has detailed which games you can get using your coins this months on Club Nintendo. There’s something for everyone in the latest update including The Legend of Zelda on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console and Mario Bros on the Wii U Virtual Console. Here’s the games you can get this month.

As someone from the US, I’ve been pretty envious of you guys lately. You can cash in for the Super Mario 3D World soundtrack, and you got the Mario Kart 8 Limited Edition with the steelbook and blue shell. I think I read something about a Bayonetta collector’s edition exclusive to you guys too.

What? STILL NO PHYSICAL REWARDS? What the HELL?! I’ve been waiting forever to redeem/use my coins, but they have no physical rewards left. What’s wrong with them? Club Nintendo of Europe and Japan has a bunch of awesome physical rewards. Especially Japan. To top it off, they’ll probably take my coins away because of not using them fast enough, even though it’s their own freakin’ fault.
It’s Nintendo. They punish the early adopter and cater to the casual or non-supportive gamer. I’m learning how this works.
You can be damn sure I’m not picking up the New 3DS day 1. Hell, I’m not even getting Smash day 1. If it’s Nintendo, I’m waiting. I’ve got plenty of indie and 3rd party to give my money to.

Club Nintendo has been a complete joke far too long now in the U.S. and if they keep this up, I’ll do my best to buy all their games used and not give them a dime anymore.
