Platinum Games’ Hideki Kamiya has announced a soundtrack for The Wonderful 101 will release in digital format next week. In order to celebrate the action-packed super hero game’s one year anniversary, the soundtrack will sport an incredible 127 tracks over two volumes, so fans can listen to the classic ’60s animated tunes whenever they wish.
The director also mentioned on Platinum Games’ official blog that The Wonderful 101’s theme song, “The Won-Stoppable Wonderful 100” has been remastered to include an epic conclusion by lead BGM composer Hiroshi Yamaguchi. Fans of the game will also be pleased to hear the sound quality for all 127 tracks has been improved upon compared to the game.
The Wonderful 101 Official Soundtrack will go on sale from September 15 on iTunes and Sumting.com for $9.99 per volume. Fans of the game can also purchase individual tracks for $0.99, if so desired. You can head on over to Platinum Games’ official blog to read the full scoop from Kamiya, but a few snippets from the announcement can be found below.
August 24th was the 1-year anniversary of the release of The Wonderful 101 in Japan but, to be honest, since I still receive messages of encouragement from fans around the world on a daily basis, it really doesn’t feel like that much time has passed. I am truly thankful that so many of you hold the game so dearly.
Now that we have the corny introduction out of the way, let’s get down to business. I have some exciting news to bring you today. We’ve been working behind the scenes, trying to find a way to release something many fans have been asking for, and today I can finally announce it: The Wonderful 101 Official Soundtrack is going to get a digital release! It clocks in at a whopping 127 tracks! This would fill 5 CDs, but we are splitting it up into two tidy volumes, each of which you can download for just $10 a piece. With this you can enjoy every track from the game wherever you are.
The sound quality is a step up from the music in the game itself, so even those of you who spent hours in the Sound Test are in for a treat. The theme song for the game, “The Won-Stoppable Wonderful 100”, has also been remastered. The game version of the track was edited to loop endlessly, so we got Hiroshi (lead BGM composer) to go back and give the song a fitting conclusion. The soundtrack is the only place you’ll find this version.
Yep
10$? HAHAHAHAHAHA ooooooooooooooooooooooooooh, what retard would pay 10$ for a videogame soundtrack that you can find on youtube
did you start typing that “to support the developers” comment? buy the game asshole, this is a video game industry not music industry “oooooh, but i already own the game” well, then you have all of that music in it + on youtube. “oh, but i want to support the developer further”. buy bayonetta 2. “oh, but i want to give that developer all of my cash, they deserve it just because they made a wii u game when no one else wants”
well, now that i’ve covered all of the possible responses you retarded fanboys would give me, i’m off. CAPTAIN PLANET, HE’S A HERO!
-Subject H-56 Donko has been identified as a pirate, capture this creature at all cost-
don’t bullshit a bullshiter. you listen to music on youtube as well. EVERYONE DOES
-Scan indicates it downloads without premission, in other words: exposed-
‘s that really your argument? d’d you really stoop so low that you have to parody yourself? oooh, it’s coming. IT’S COMING!
Dilegua, o notte!
Tramontate, stelle!
Tramontate, stelle!
All’alba vincerò!

-Subject Donko has no authority to be judging higher lifeforms as it doesn’t have a sofisticated intelligence-
-Error correction: Sophisticated-
like your lifeform that types the comments on the human made webiste, you who like a human made company, you who write in human language, you who spend money on human made things, and you who play a pc that is made by humans? don’t give me shit like “nintendo is above mortal life, they are higher beings” when yamauchi died and iwata is fucking up left and right, + they don’t even use online in their games and their futuristic console is the weakest in this gen, and was in the prior gen”
go bring your roleplaying with you somewhere else, not when talking to me. it’s just annoying when i see it.
Good, then your butthurt is working…
i outsmarted you again. you cannot defend yourself. you never could
But he has a point. You paied for a video game with music which you can even record them from the game yourself. WTF would I pay for video game music when I already have them and they’re available elsewhere?
*Cybernetic facepalm*
xD Idiot.
The price of the OST reflects the number of the actual game that sold

BEYOND!
And further!
Colin is a fucking nerdy Sony fanboy.
A fanboy doesn’t criticize its company when it fucks up. Colin does, and I respect him for that
Thats what a real fanboy exactly does. I know so many people who criticize the thing they blindly love. i have a friend who cant like any fotball club than Real Madrid. he likes them so much that he forced it to his girlfriend and two kids. and every time Real Madrid loses they say its referee fault. And Every single time im with them watching a match, All they to is criticize their own player until the end of match.
– This Is Gamer, Peace Out
No, you’re confusing video games with sports…
its an example fanboy is a fanboy. i have 11 more examples if its confusing, the example i said was just the most annoying of them. btw if you have been here for a while then you should know what the fanboys say here when it isnt the game they wanted that nintendo publishes like Mario 3D world every one was bitching about it when it was announce – This Is Gamer, Peace Out
That’s funny..except Knack did even worse and actually sold that same amount? Care to damage control that? lol
So you’re implying that there’s only one game which bombed on PS4 (even though that game sold better than SM3DW at launch in UK anyways though)? That’s actually a really high success rate if you ask me
So Knack sold better in UK. That only proves how pathetic UK gamers are for buying more trash than good games. For example: They’re still buying COD Ghosts and its clearly the worst game since MW3.
No one bought the game, therefore no one is buying the soundtrack
It’s a shame too… The game wasn’t that bad… Kinda reminded me a little of Viewtiful Joe.
PlayStation 4 sales in the UK have shot past the 1 million mark, Sony has revealed.
UK MD Fergal Gara told MCV that the console managed the feat in just 42 weeks, making it the second fastest-selling console in the country of all-time. The Wii managed to hit the same figure in 38 weeks.
“We have certainly seen PS3 consumers come across quite hard and fast,” Gara said. “But a very significant proportion are people we have never seen on our network before. And from their behaviour and the types of games they are playing, it’s fairly clear that a big chunk of those have come across from Xbox, which is tremendous to see. And there’s a chunk that look like they’re brand new to gaming. And they’ve picked PS4 as their first serious gaming device.”
Last we heard, in the first quarter of this year the PS4 was outselling the Xbox One 3:1. As for the console’s worldwide figure? We found out at Gamescom last month that it’s sitting pretty at over 10 million units. IGN Logo
This thing just keeps selling and selling.
I am quite surprised in a way I thought this was going to be a tough generation for consoles due to people in general having less money than when the previous consoles came out but PS is owning markets right now
I honestly thought Sony were being over ambitious when they said it was going to sell 5 million by march of this year when it was first released. Boy was I wrong.
All hail the PlayStation Nation!

Freaking epic.
Your nation will be crushed by ours like this, by my “son”…

Sony stays winning
I seriously need to get this game! Unite HAND! :)
If you’re a fan of steep learning curves (like me) this game is for you. It’s kinda like modern-retro. Even the easiest mode was brutal lmao. Too bad Nintendo didn’t bother to advertise it enough or maybe it would have done better.
Talking about advertising, I haven’t seen one bit about Smash Brothers 3DS on the TV at all…
Oh, no. Don’t worry about that. You’re pretty much guaranteed to see that get advertised with how Nintendo is with the 3DS. I’m more concerned about the Wii U version…
By the way, I just saw a Destiny trailer for PS4 on TV the second I posted that. LOL.
I’m trying to get the Ghost Edition of Destiny but it’s so hard to find dammit! ><
Whoa! Man, that sucks. Lol. Should’ve pre ordered. :p
They cancelled preorders of Destiny Ghosts Collector’s Edition a few days after announcing it. When they say Collector’s Edition they REALLY mean it
You make me sick…
You really need to work on your sarcasm. That seriously sounded like an insult, but I know you’re joking. Lol, I’m letting you off with a warning this time. ;)
NO!! Do not let him off!

Unite THROW CASH!
Nintendo was stupid for not thinking of Wonder Red in Smash.
