This Week’s Famitsu Comes With 100-Page Guide For Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS

super_smash_bros_3ds_famitsu_guideA Famitsu subscriber has revealed that this week’s issue of the magazine comes with a 100-page guide for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. The fighting title makes its debut in Japan this Saturday, September 13th. A demo for the game launched yesterday in the Japanese Nintendo eShop, giving players a chance to whet their appetites ahead of the full release. The demo also allows users to battle with their friends via local wireless play.

    These don’t come in English do they? I’ve tried to learn Japanese, it’s just so hard. It just doesn’t click so easily with me.

      … and they usually almost always translate incorrectly, just like Google translate. Those apps generally only work on small phrases, I don’t think it would be worth the trouble even trying to use an app to read 100 pages… -_-

            Zoe Quinn is an American independent video game developer and 2D artist. Quinn developed the interactive fiction Depression Quest, co-created with Patrick Lindsey and Isaac Schankler, a Twine game released on Steam.

            Zoe Quinn created Depression Quest, a game which details the troubled life of a person suffering from depression. Quinn attempted to publish the game on Steam Greenlight service twice – in December 2013 and later in August 2014, when it was accepted and released by Steam.

            In addition to her own game development projects, Quinn is also known for creating the Game Developer Help List designed to bring experienced game developers and novice developers into contact with one another. In 2014, Quinn was to be part of the cancelled YouTube reality television show GAME_JAM, which was intended to bring together a number of prominent indie game developers.

            Quinn is also interested in body modification, and has implanted a chip in the back of her hand that can be programmed to perform various functions. Her first use of the chip was to load it with a download code for the game Deus Ex. Quinn also has a magnetic implant in her left ring finger.

            Quinn has joined Loveshack Entertainment as Narrative Designer for the upcoming iOS game FRAMED. Quinn is also working on a full motion video game starring Greg Sestero.

            Quinn has reported that in December 2013, while attempting to publish Depression Quest, she became the target of harassment, both online and through sexually explicit phone calls. Shortly after the game was released on Steam, in August 2014, Quinn’s ex-boyfriend published a post on his blog accusing Quinn of infidelity. After the posting, Quinn was targeted by a disturbing harassment campaign, including publication of sensitive personal information online and hacking of her Tumblr account by someone claiming to be from “/v/”, a gaming forum on the 4chan website, events which formed the genesis of the video game controversy GamerGate which eventually influenced the wider video game culture.

                      She didn’t do anything to deserve the huge amount of hate she’s getting. People are just angry because she released a controversial game. That’s it.. Do you know a group of people who attacked her on Twitter actually doxed her? If you don’t know what that means, it means that her phone number, home address, bank account, EVERYTHING was posted on the Internet. No one deserves this just for making a game!

                      There is nothing really that controversial about her game, depression is something many people deal with everyday, nothing new or controversial about it really. She has you wrapped around her pinky also I see, she loves the controversy and uses that attention to her advantage to make herself look like the victim, when she is the real criminal.

                      What I’m saying literally has nothing to do with her games in general.

                      Only sexist morons are the ones attacking her like you said, and that is such a small fragment of what is really going on anyway. Nothing you said excuses the fact the she herself is by far a shittier person than the people hacking her. She actually does deserve it, believe it or not, maybe not in that particular sense of sexism but she does deserve something to happen for what she has done.

                      Her corrupt manipulation is on an entirely different level, she has done the exact same things to The Fine Young Capitalists, you know this right? Using DDoS attacks, costing them not only their charity but thousands of dollars out of their own pocket was wasted because of this slag. When all she wanted was more attention, trying to look like some feminist crusader when she is the complete opposite of what she claims to be, a delusional habitual liar who uses her vagina to get what she wants out of the world.

                      She doesn’t live by any of the values she constantly preaches about. So keep trying to defend her senselessly… At this rate you’re just an idiot, not even a useful one.

                    If you want to know about Zoe Quinn I recommend watching this video. It’s because of this incident that people started cyberbullying her.

                      If you are in the public eye and you can’t handle cyber bullying, than you really need to get a grip on what reality is. It will never stop unless they completely censor everything on the internet. Bullying will never stop period.

                      I’m not saying it is okay but honestly… Using Zoe Quinn and Phil Fish are some terrible examples. Two of the biggest hypocrites in the industry.

                      Again, this has nothing to do with their games and I actually love FEZ.

        It’s mainly for those that want to unlock certain characters straight away instead of doing random things to see what unlocks what. If Ridley is playable in this game by some chance, I’m definitely gonna want to know the steps to unlocking him. Plus, if he is in the game as such, he’ll most likely be well hidden in the same way Mewtwo was well hidden in Melee. If you weren’t in the know, you could have easily missed Mewtwo in Melee. I know I almost missed him til I looked online to see what all characters were in the game as playable.
