B Dasher Vehicle Revealed For Mario Kart 8’s First DLC Pack

Nintendo has revealed a new vehicle for the first DLC pack for Mario Kart 8. The first pack will arrive in November and feature three characters, including Link, Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach, alongside new tracks and vehicles. But today, the company has unveiled the popular B Dasher – seen in Mario Kart DS – will be available alongside the Blue Falcon as one of the four new vehicles from the first pack.

Known as one of the heaviest vehicles from Mario Kart DS, the B Dasher will propel you around designated courses at top speed, though it won’t be served as a just reward for gaining all Gold Cups in Mirror Mode. What other vehicles from past series would you like included in the new DLC packs? Let us know in the comment section below. You can purchase the first DLC pack or a bundle of both packs from the Nintendo eShop.

    1. The article clearly says that this car comes with the Link, Tanookie mario , and cat peach DLC. -_- how much more clear can it be?

  1. I wish there was more tracks in addition to the 2 DLC packs we are getting now. I want them to expand this game as much as possible. XD

      1. Speaking of patience, after spending months and weeks of researching, I have finally found my build. I will start my gaming PC plan next week. :)

              1. It will be worth it though. I’ve been wanting a gaming PC since forever but could never afford it. Now is the time I join! Lol. So many games I want. I probably won’t upgrade it unless there are a good amount of next gen games I want or until I’m done getting all the games I want.

      1. No they definitely we’re not. DD had no online mode, which would have made it better. But the DS had that online breaking cheat. Was worse playing DS with the cheaters than with the Wii hackers

        1. Wii MK with hackers SUCKED! Spamming bombs and blue shells at the beginning of a race just got ridiculous. I believe the single item is meant to keep that hack from happening, even though it sucks you cant hold onto two items now.

      2. MK7 was actually fun and the last game to have a legit battle mode before Nintendo oddly changed that shit for the worst. DD was a blast regardless of having no line which wasn’t even ready yet despite Xbox Live showing up using the same infrastructure as the PC which Xbox always tried to be.

        1. The battle mode for Mario Kart 8 was a great idea. It’s that fucking forced time limit that ruins it. *facepalm* Way to utterly shit on a great idea, Nintendo!

    1. agreed i loved doubledash and was disappointed that the concept was never carried on. if they do this right, they could keep us buying dlc till the end of the wii u’s life span.

  2. So that’s the secret vehicle of the first pack, eh? As another said, I’m not much for the heavy styled vehicles of the Mario Kart series. But it’s cool that it’s being added for those that do like that style of vehicle.
