Super Smash Bros Wii U Arrives December 5 For Europe, With Amiibo Launching November 28

Nintendo of Europe has confirmed Super Smash Bros for Wii U will launch on December 5 for the region. But not only do we now have a release date for the upcoming Wii U brawler, but the new trailer also showcases the first wave of Amiibos which are available to purchase on November 28 from retailers.

With the excitement brewing, not many will be able to withstand the cute Nintendo collectables ready for battle. However, you’ll have many more characters to choose from when a second wave of Amiibo models hit Europe on December 19 – just in time for the Christmas shopping rush. The second batch of Amiibo characters include those listed below, totaling a remarkable 18 figures ready and raring to go in Super Smash Bros:

  • Diddy Kong
  • Little Mac
  • Luigi
  • Captain Falcon
  • Pit
  • Princess Zelda

  2. I won’t buy the game since I am not interested. Nevertheless I don’t think it’s a bad deal for Europe. The amiibo will be out on 28th November with the bundle. The game will be release 2 weeks after North America. By then we will know if the game is OK or super crap. Or in a blue sky situation, that leave 2 weeks for nintendo Europe to produce more software for Europe and avoid shortage since smash will be very successful in North America. Furthermore if there is a bug in the software Europe will have a shorter waiting time to get it resolved. :-)

  4. I am glad we get the Amiibos a week early. Anyone who thinks they have no purpose for a week…… Mario has something to say to Peach about that.
