Here’s The Japanese Overview Trailer For Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Nintendo has released the Japanese overview trailer for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. In addition to giving a general summary of the main objectives in the upcoming puzzle platformer, the video confirms the game will make its debut in Japan on November 13th. It will then arrive in North America on December 5th, followed by a European release in January. Nintendo revealed earlier this week that the game will support select amiibo figures in 2015.

    1. More like my bank account, between all these Nintendo games and games on other systems I have, including PC games I want. I am screwed.

Oh well, money is meant to be spent right?

        1. Once again you lol like a fucking dumb ass when what you say has no relevance to my comment. What I said was correct and your pointless assertions don’t affect what I did say. Whether someone chooses to spend their money stupidly or wisely, what I said does not change.

Money is made to be spent, is it not?

You didn’t fix anything but your own childish ego clearly, always trying to correct people even when you’re so wrong. You’ve already infested the comment sections enough with utter nonsense today, I really wish you would give it a rest already.

I’ve made you look like a total dumb ass too many times as well, yet you still continue to lol like a halfwit, as if your some brilliant smart ass with your snarky comments. Nope, just an ass, nothing intelligent about you.

Also, please don’t even bother responding to this either… please. It doesn’t need to go any further. Although knowing you… I don’t even know why I am asking politely.

      1. Nintendo ALWAYS drains my bank account. Tomorrow they’re draining even more. Because I’m buying the NES edition 3DS XL at Gamestop.

    1. I am so done with Mario it’s not funny, so if this is anything like a Mario platformer, I’m passing. I’ll keep watching for info!

  1. Will this game be 2 player? Does the end of the video with Toad and Toadette cheering indicate 2 player? How is Toadette kidnapped by a bird in the beginning of the video, but is a playable character throughout the rest of the video? Does anyone have any idea on the purpose of the Toad Brigade being in the game? Also, is Mario not in the game like New Super Luigi U?

    1. I don’t think its two player. Mario won’t be in the game. Purpose of the Toad Brigade? Because if they’re not there a sudden radioactive meltdown would occur in the Mushroom Kingdom and Toads will have mold growing on their heads. It’s a video game, they can do whatever the fuck they want, lol

      1. Indeed, they can do whatever they want, and if they continue to not give a shit about the consumer, they can be the only ones playing it at Nintendo HQ. They don’t need to make money, right?

      1. My favorite song is when you are flying in sky runner. That song is amazing on a technical level. How they got such a psychedelic sound only using 8bit music is quite an achievement.

To this day, it is still some of the best 8bit music I’ve heard. Keiichi Suzuki and Hirokazu Tanaka are geniuses.

The orchestrated soundtrack is so beautiful.

      1. Already know breh. Been through this way too many times lmao. Don’t think I need painkillers this time though. Definitely need to hydrate though. I’m feeling as dry as you Drybones, lol.

  2. Wow. This looks SO good! It’s just going to feel strange not being able to jump!

When does this come out in AUS?

    1. It was, in Europe.

“It will then arrive in North America on December 5th, followed by a European release in January”

The European release was pushed to January 2015. :(

      1. Nintendo is My Blood Reborn

        It was?
I suppose that may be a blessing in disguise, it will give our wallets time to recover after the brutal beating Nintendo will have on it what with amiibo, Pokemon ORAS, Bayo 2, Super Smash and what not.

        1. Yes, it was. You can look on google, I tried posting the links but it wouldn’t let me post the comment with them.

Just search “Captain Toad Delay Explained”

Nintendo UK said they wanted to give the game the best possible launch time.

  3. maxamillion money bags the third

You could buy every good game for the Wii u and you might end up with 15 good games, maybe. And that’s counting the next 6 months of releases. Stop acting like Nintendo has 50 good games out. If 15 games in two years “kills your wallet” then you must be really poor

    1. Or you may be forgetting that people actually have other important things to buy in life as well and not everyone has the money to drop $1000 on games.

  4. I had my doubts about this game, but it seems pretty good… I wanna have it, and let me say that those graphics look really cool, Toadette looks quite cute!

  5. Between Bayonetta in two weeks and Super Smash Bros at the end of November, I don’t see this game sell a ton… even for Wii U standard.

Maybe down the road I will buy it, I really want to, but it will never be a top priority… if is cheap and it does not need to much memory I will download it… when it become more cheap.

      1. You talking about Toad? Not sure… but Captain Toad is only delayed in Europe to January 2015, NA will get the game on December 5th.

      2. I’ll just post this again in case you don’t see my comment above.

        Nintendo UK –

“In order to optimise the best possible launch timing for Europe, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, originally announced as coming to Wii U in Winter 2014 is now confirmed to launch in the European market in January 2015.”

    1. Well there’s the single last piece of credibility you just had down the drain my friend. The Mario Galaxy games cannot, should not and will not be compared to a cube puzzler starring Toad, that’s like comparing a finger painting to Picasso or One Direction to Pearl Jam.

  6. Ok let’s see here… October: Bayonetta 2. November: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. December: Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Hopefully, Nintendo keeps getting a steady flow of games like this every month or so. If the Wii U isn’t back on it’s feet by next year, there is something seriously wrong with gamers. Lmao.

    1. As a nintendo fan, I have never complained about the rate at which games come out. I spend at least 3 hours a day gaming and never have run out of stuff to play. Get the money’s worth out of your games. That’s the beauty of nintendo; the replay value, and the fact that the majority of their releases cater to all their fans. There has to be something on the wii u/ wii you have yet to play.

  7. This game looks fucking amazing! The Puzzle/platform hybrid style of play to the extremely polished graphics(seriously even though it’s using 3d world’s engine it looks far better) It seems like the perfect holiday game, and nothing beats triple aaa Ninty titles at Christmas..game on and screw the haters!!
