The New Nintendo 3DS went on sale in Japan this weekend and it appears as though a lot of gamers decided to rush out and upgrade with most stores in Tokyo alone selling out of the product. So now the New Nintendo 3DS is out what do those who purchased it think to the new device? Here’s some thoughts.
Thoughts on the new C-stick
- “The C-stick is actually pretty good!”
- “It’s much better than I’d imagined.”

Many of us Sony fans don’t want to buy an underpowered console like the Nintendo 3DS, but we would gladly buy a quality title like Smash Bros. 3. SSB has always, and will always, be for Nintendo systems only. Not only is it tradition, but it only makes sense marketing-wise.
4. Why would Nintendo put a popular game on sony systems, thus helping their competition? They made the game, they choose where it goes.
5. There is no breach of the anti-trust law. That is bogus, and the reason is because Sony already released its own fighting game using Sony-exclusive characters called “Playstation All-Stars.” It’s not Nintendo’s fault it didn’t do well at all.

If you want to play the game and don’t want to pay for a new console, then get a fucking emulator for the PC– an experimental 3DS emulator is already in the works, and has already worked for some games. If you’re really such a cheap bastard that you don’t want to pay for a new system MUCH cheaper than the PS Vita or PS4, then go for an emulation.

Yea, that part sounded disappointing, hopefully they are comparing it to good smartphone displays. Then, it wouldn’t be so bad.
And smartphones are have a cooler white (blue-ish) anyway, which would make warmer white (yellow-ish) very noticeable. One is not really better than the other but I’d prefer the cooler tone.
They are partially competing with smartphones in the Japanese market (and everywhere really).

They announced the new 3ds xl back when the new 3ds was announced. The new 3ds xl doesn’t have the customizable panels though.

I have no idea. That’s why more people are getting the new 3ds instead of the new 3ds xl. I’m probably going to get 3ds the regular. It even has the SNES colored buttons, while the XL does not.
I won’t be buying it launch day however, since there aren’t any upcoming exclusive titles announced yet besides the Xenoblade Chronicles port. Hopefully we’ll see many games being developed for it at E3. I’m really hoping for a Super Mario Sunshine sequel.

Iffy about Nintendo technology now…they think cheap and unique, but many people especially in western countries see it as weak and gimmick. Wii might sale best last Gen, but it damage Nintendo image, Wii u is doing the same with its weak hardware right now. The 3ds is great, but does it sale better than iPhones, iPod, and iPad…i still like Nintendo, but they DO NOT understand western countries. Wii u sale most in Japan, but western countries ps4 and Xbox 1 out sale it but double or triple the sale. I believe Nintendo always hold back their technologies when they could make it stronger and faster what the Majority consumer wants TODAY, people today look at YouTube review and see graphics comparison it will turn them away from Nintendo graphics looking like 360 or ps3. I love the colorful box art and improved 3D (from what I heard). But with the XL version not having changable face plates, that makes me feel like passing on buying it.
