Mighty No.9 Will Now Include English Voice Acting

Inti Creates and Keiji Inafune have revealed to fans that Mighty No.9 will now have English voice acting rather than Japanese. The issue initially sparked some debate and the English voice acting came across as the ultimate winner. Here’s what the team had to say about the new addition to the forthcoming game.

“We’ve been seeing great discussions all over our forums, twitter feed and Facebook for the past week, all focused on a single burning question: English or Japanese? Which language will all the voice acting be in for Mighty No. 9?!”

“The response has been amazing: over 20,000 of you weighed in with your choice over the last few days, and now we’re finally back with your decision.”

“Mighty No. 9 will include English voice acting!
You might be thinking “Well DUH! Of course it’s English — the largest majority of Mighty No. 9 backers speak English!” And sure, you’d be right, but you’d be surprised how close the vote was — less than 1,000 votes separated the two choices, from the start right down to the end!”

“So a HUGE thanks to ALL of you for helping us make Mighty No. 9 a better game, with special thanks to our slacker backers and beckers who upped their reward tiers, since it’s their purchases that will make this bonus content possible and guarantees it for all our backers! You guys & gals are the best! ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ”

  1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis's Mom

Hi little boys and girls, has any of you seen my son?

He hasn’t been home or school for the past few days and I’m worried sick, was told by his classmates I will find him here, please help have anyone seen my baby boy?

  2. Why only one language? If this game is going to be recieving an international release then it ought to be in EVERY language!

  3. Normally I welcome voices in games. But there are times when voices don’t match a game. Like in Mega Man 8. The robot voices were so corny.

  4. Jean-Luc Belanger it’s because they only had enough money to put one language on the game for voice acting they need $200,000 to put English and Japanese but they only raised $100,000 so they could only put one language for the voice acting

      1. How could they pocket millions of dollars if they actually spent the money on the game??

Come’on man, you need to get with the program and think like a greedy developer! ;)
