In a surprising turn of events the Pokemon Company has decided to team up with acclaimed horror manga artist Junji Ito. The collaboration between the two companies is titled “Kowapoke,” or “Scarypoke.” The Pokemon Company has released a single image, which you can see above, featuring a scary Banette. Those who are really into it can also apparently get a t-shirt with the print on it.

      1. Yeah, I don’t think it will happen again… Besides, not many people know that the creature is Banette nor that Banette is a Pokemon.

  1. This could be amazing. Pokédex entries describe terrible things that Pokémon would never be allowed to do in the media most closely related to the franchise. The kind of thing that’s tame for Junji Ito. It will be amazing.
