Every time I answer one of those club Nintendo surveys, I always answer “No” to “Is this game the reason you bought a Wii U”. I can finally answer Yes when I take the Xenoblade Chronicles X survey. FINALLY!

        1. Nintendo is My Blood Reborn

I’m going to say no, because I bought my Wii U at launch like a good Nintendo fan
          I jest I jest of course ;-)

          1. I only adopted Wii U when the Wind Waker HD bundle came around, but I answer ‘yes’ to that question rather often, as there are plenty of games I’ve been looking forward to since before I bought the system.

        1. And with the latest one launching in such a broken ass state, as usual, those numbers are gonna keep decreasing. Oh joy. Call of Spammy will be dead soon, like “Guitar Hero” dead.

  1. yeah lets just pretend that rise of the tomb raider and metal gear solid will be better than zelda u… Shmucks -_-

    1. I can’t comment on Rise of the Tomb Raider, but if any game deserves to compete in the same ring as Zelda, it’s probably Metal Gear Solid. Hideo Kojima has worked for the duration of his career to make the best video game, and from what I’ve seen of his work, his open-world MGS is going to be unprecedentedly fleshed out. As a longtime Zelda fanboy, I actually have the slightest of worries that Zelda’s open world will not be quite as good as MGSV:PH’s. open world.

By the way, I actually haven’t played an MGS beyond the first game, but I’ve read about them all as far in-depth as can be read without story spoilers, and I think I see a pattern. MGS was revolutionary (many claim it to be the best), MGS2 was experimentational with a then-new console and nothing near as amazing as it’s predecessor, MGS3 learned from MGS2 and was phenomenal (those who have played up to this game claim it to be the best), and MGS4 was another MGS2 (a mixed bag that played around). By this pattern, MGS5 is going to be mindblowing, especially since it’s completely done away with the primary problem which the detractors complained about: linearity. Again, take me with a healthy dosage of salt, as I haven’t actually played most of these games.

      1. I didn’t let myself get fooled this time. I was so excited when I saw Kirby’s Epic Yarn, and it turned out to be an easy ass game despite the visuals. Only visuals doesn’t cut the meat for me, no siree. I’m very skeptic about Yoshi’d Wooly World until I see any sign of challenging gameplay, but since it’s made by the same team as Kirby’s Epic Yarn, I barely have hopes.

You can easily gauge difficulty of platformers based on how quickly the character moves, how often you’re required to jump, and how active the enemies on screen are. If you set everything to low, then it’s gonna be a breeze. I haven’t seen a lot of YWW, but it’s looking like it might be pretty easy. I could be wrong though.

  2. “OMGZ!!!! Such XBONERZ!!! I swear, this is all due to west that tries to destroy gaming and thinks only of money an´ DLC, Xbonerz paid i tell ya, i rather game on Pony because PC master raze rage race, yeah innovation 3rd class dirt no more, WiiU FTW!, hmph dont make me laugh multimedia gimmicks, dont make me laugh, demanding multimedia gimmicks…..”

If ya wonder WTF? Then just leave now out of this comment section because it´ll be filled with that kinda stuff, if its not already…….

Anyways looking forward to all the great games from Nintendo,Microsoft and Sony.

    1. Money is always a factor of what gaming console you would prefer. Also media hype bullshit and also what your friends think its cool.

Thats the new gen gamers there.I know people that were not interested on buying a console and wanted the other console because it had games he liked but instead he bought what his friends liked…..now regretting buying it in the first place.

I always buy what i like and enjoy all games that appeal to me.

  3. I dunno about Batman. I played through Arkham City, and enjoyed it, but there’s only so much I can take. Sure gliding and grappling through the city and jumping bad guys is fun, but- eh- I don’t feel like the series has evolved enough to warrant me buying the sequel(s). It seems as if the batmobile is the only new addition to the game. We’ll see.

And I’m really hoping No Mans Sky comes to pc. Big fan of open world games, and this one is really taking it to the max.

So I’m looking forward to Xenoblade, Zelda, Mario Maker, Splatoon, Metal Gear Solid, SMT X FE, Star Fox, and a bunch of Indie games. 2015 is lookin’ pretty fine…

  4. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis's Mom

“Game Informer has listed the games that they’re most looking forward to next year and there’s a splattering of Wii U games on the list. ”

Get the eff outta Faggot,a splattering of Wii U games but only 8 out of the 10 games aren’t coming on Wii U

      1. Pretty sure FFXV will come in 2015, considering there will be a demo available in March. They’re aiming for 2015 for KH3 too, but since they’re focusing on FF first, it is possible that KH3 might come later than 2015. I’m keeping my hopes high for it. q:

            1. None of them are slated for 2015. KH III is still in early development and has to be restructured due to the fact that they just switched game engines.

FF XV had to start from scratch for the new gen and the demo is just to tide us over for a bit. It still has a lot of work to do. The whole development process has been a mess and now that a new director has just been assigned to the project since Nomura left (left pissed off at that), don’t expect it any time soon.

              1. Well, I didn’t actually say any of them were officially announced for 3015, just shared my own ideas on the situation. (:
What you’re saying makes sense of course, and the things that happened (such as changing engines etc.) sure didn’t do much for speeding up development, but as I’ve said in my previous comment, I’m trying to keep my hopes high, I still believe there’s a chance of the game coming in 2015. About KH3, well, now that you say it, odds for it coming next year are quite close to non-existent, I suppose.
But yea, I’ll stop hoping for FFXV coming in 2015 only when SE officially confirms it. d: Maybe I’m just being blind to the obvious, but I’m just really looking forward to both games, and like many others, I can’t wait for them to finally be out. So a little optimism won’t hurt. (:

    1. oh my gosh is SWbattlefont coming out next year? I would buy another console just to play that game if i have to.

    1. Nope as far as i know, you really shouldnt expect 3rd party offerings on Nintendo system anyways, just get Xbox or Playstation.

“AWWWW Get PlayStation because Xbox is from western company and west is evil, Japanese systems are kawaii and do no harm for our world, but Xbox thatz another ztory, they try to take over the world and force us to play western gamez like garbage GTA, thatz why ya shall getz playstation an play kawaii gamez like TalesOfSpikyHairedGoodGuyXIIIVERSUSSpaceSoldierWithBADHARICUTTO”-Expect This kinda comments coming.

          1. Oh i hate Xbox anyways. To many boys with pitch voices trying get with me. But thinks for the info stranga. I really the love tomb raider series but if it’s not on Wii u than oh well, They just lost fan.

              1. There won’t be. Rise of The Tomb Raider will come to other systems eventually, but highly unlikely for Wii U. I would not suggest getting people’s hopes up for nothing.

                1. Well bo shit its gonna be a timed exclusive because Microsoft loves buying out the damn market since they ain’t got shit to offer.

And I never said its coming to Wii U and I don’t care if it does or not.

                  1. Rise of The Tomb Raider not coming to Wii U will be disappointing to me. I’m glad Nintendo is fixing the Wii U by giving it great exclusives, but the more I hear about games not coming to the system really gets on my nerves. I only like a few Nintendo franchisee. I don’t care about every one of them. All I really need is Mario and Zelda, and then third party fill out the rest. I’m hoping the Wii U gets better third party support in the future, but at this rate, I am not sure if I can handle the lack of third party. I don’t have a Wii U anymore, but maybe I might get it again in the future if it gets more support.

                    1. So? Its no loss and besides, Microsoft bought it out as usual in their scheme to buy out the whole market. And you seriously ditched Wii U because of several missing shitty 3rd rate party games which are cash in scams? You suck.

                      1. No. I don’t have a Wii U because I had to sell it along with my 3DS because my family is having money issues. I can’t buy any games or anything right now because I have to focus on studying and trying to get into my future career of computer engineering. I might get back to the Wii U and all the other game consoles and systems later after my life is straightened out right now. I already said before that I would not sell my Wii U just for another game console. It’s just because…personal problems happened. So, yeah… :/ You owe me an apology. XD

                          1. Yeah. That sucks. But it doesn’t mean I’ve given up on gaming. I still check on this stuff regularly. Probably later on when I can get my life settled and get a real job and stuff I can play games again. :D

              1. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ SHUT THE FUCK UP KURISU ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

                ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ SHUT THE FUCK UP SLUT OR I BANG BANG YOU ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

            1. “… the Gunpowder treason and plot. I know of no reason, why the Gunpowder Treason, should ever be forgot.”

I liked that book, but did I miss something? Why is that relevant?

          2. No Man’s Sky is #2?? That game is going to be a major disappointment. So much hype for nothing more than a graphics demo.

            1. Graphics demo? The graphics are not impressive in any way and I wouldn’t expect them to be considering it’s an indie team developing the game with limited resources.

What has everyone hyped is what you can do in and the scope of the game.

          3. Evolve doesn’t even look that good. It’s just Left 4 Dead but instead of it being 4 on 4 it’s 4 on 1. I rather get a Left 4 Dead 3.
And like the person in the comments section said. The Batman game is just bringing in a bigger city and a batmobile. The fighting is going to be similar just with a few added moves.

          4. Much like EGM and other game magazines, GameInformer became nothing but a Playstation and Xbox kiss-ass publication. I can’t express how much I miss Nintendo Power. The greatest game magazine, based solely on the greatest game company in the world. NINTENDO

          5. I can’t believe that some people thought that this Link was a female. Looks just as much like Link as any of them to me.
