Several rumors have suggested that Nintendo is planning to release a Wii U packaged with a copy of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Featuring the Wii U Deluxe Set model, the unconfirmed bundle is also said to include a Nintendo GameCube controller emblazoned with the iconic Super Smash Bros. insignia, as well as an adapter that lets up to four original GameCube or WaveBird gamepads work with the game. Nintendo previously announced that it will be offering a bundle that includes Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, one Nintendo GameCube controller and one adapter at a suggested retail price of $99.99. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U launches on November 21st.

Even if this is fake, Nintendo will probably still make some sort of Smash Bros. bundle eventually. And it’s once again too late. For I have already bought the Super Mario 3D World bundle. Later down the road, they’ll release a new color of Wii U. Once again making everybody who already owns one feel like screaming. Classic Nintendo.

I personally think that Nintendo will make a special Smash Bros bundle to compete with the GTA V PS4 bundle and the upcoming soon to be announced Halo: Master Chief Collection Xbox One bundle. Smash Bros will sell extremely well bundled or not but it being bundled would be a great way for Nintendo to gain new consumers who are on the fences about getting a Wii U because of Smash’s popularity and worldwide appeal
I was just talking to a girl about this at my job. They might release one closer to Christmas and I think that will be the only way she will get a wii u since she mentioned it.
