This week’s UK charts are now in courtesy of GFK Chart-Track. As in a similar pattern to previous weeks, three Nintendo titles remain in the individual top 40 but are continuously floundering against multi-platform games. Halo: The Master Chief Collection bags the top spot over Assassin’s Creed: Unity, which falls in at number 2 and 3 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One respectively. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – last week’s chart-topper – continues to dominate the top 10 on all platforms.
Tomodachi Life continues to hold the title for the best-selling 3DS game in the UK charts at 24 this week, while Super Smash Bros for 3DS falls from 19 to 30. Although Mario Kart 8 saw a resurgence last week with the first DLC pack’s release, it drops to 34 from 25. You can view the individual UK top 40 games chart in full below.

Completely predictable. Halo CE is so buggy you can’t even save your in game data. Every review says not to buy it until they patch the game up. The UK doesn’t care though. You guys buy anything.

Guess what, it was patched yesterday. How long did it take Nintendo to patch Maku Loop again?
The patch didn’t fix everything, and these are glitches the effect things every player does, not a hard to find glitch that you needed to purposely go off the map to even do
It really didn’t fix much. Multiplayer is still a pain in the ass to get into. (Only been able to play 3 games since launch) If you play co-op on at least halo online the other player gets disconnected at the last cut scene and doesn’t get the final achievements (if you’re not the host). The game freezes on boot up or other areas (this happened again yesterday) and the list goes on. By far the worst halo launch ever (big halo fan here).

In the U.K, unfortunately no. Which is annoying, because I don’t get the obsession with yearly rehashes with little to no change between installments. I’ve got nothing against EA or the FIFA brand, but if they released a new installment every 2-3 years and made plenty of changes, then I wouldn’t mind the success that FIFA recieves……………

I like Football(Soccer) enough to watch it and support a team, but not to buy a game based on it. And besides, I prefer the more civilized sport of Cricket. Some may find it boring, but I’m and Indian that was born in the U.K and live with a Cricket obsessed Dad, so I picked Cricket up young. But even then, I wouldn’t buy a Cricket game, I would just go out and play it. The same for Football/Soccer…
I think I also prefer Cricket somewhat more than that silly soccer game…

Basket ball games are the only sports video games I like and I would only actually spend money on NBA Jam games. Oh and screw the haters, Michael Jordan’s Chaos in the Windy City for SNES was awesome lol I would love that to be on the VC.
I’ve never played FIFA and the only sports game I’ve ever liked was SSX Tricky. Should I give a soccer or tennis game a try? Those are my favorite sports. I still can’t see the appeal but so many people buy those games.

Yeah I’m a Nintendo fan, but a gamer first. I just hate the yearly releases of franchises like Assassins Creed, that sort of schedule can continue to produce the quality the series needs to be worthwhile. Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, those are the games worth complaining about. But minor bugs in games is kinda the norm now, hell Smash 3DS even had some, so there!
Call of Duty doesn’t have to be a yearly release because it doesn’t have a year in the title, I mean, it’s not Call of Duty 2015 is it??? It’s just that Activision and EA are being money grabbing, franchise milking scumbags. Nothing against those two companies, I mean Mario is also being milked by Nintendo, but there aren’t yearly main series Mario games, are there???
The thing is though, the CoD games, specially since WaW have been pretty much the same regardless of spin-off…
And if Activision spent multiple years producing one Call of Duty game, then that problem won’t be there, you will be able to say, ‘hey,that new Call of Duty seems to have so much more content than the last game in the yearly releases……

Halo is amazing. Unlike you children on this site, I was but a teen during the Halo 2 era, and now ten years have passed since halo 2’s release. It is amazing to be able to experience the competitive multiplayer again. Unity is a piece of shit with 18fps, so I don’t know why that game is selling so well.
I would think it’s the bundle (same bundle i put on layway) has to be. Why else will black flag for the xbox one be on there? Because it’s bundled both with unity and black flag…… Don’t understand the ps4 one though

As a 30 year old, I have no interest in this. Halo 1-2 were great, hated everything past it. I’m certainly not getting the collection for two games that I honestly wouldn’t play much anymore. Not like I even have an xbox or ever would have a microsoft system. I have been against them since they joined the market. And Halo 1-2 are the only games in 3 generations that I have enjoyed playing with friends so I haven’t missed anything but countless shooters and multiplats and fable, which never appealed to me.

I only on Wii U in terms of home consoles tbis generation, but, although it’s not a Nintendo produced game, Sonic Boom is apparently a broken mess and it’s on Wii U. However, it suffered the same fate and probably the same hate the Sonic 06 recieved, for being a broken mess that was rushed to meet a deadline as many employees working on the game left the company during Sonic Boom’s development…
Sonic boom was man with no effort.
It was a fresh take on sonic with a lame cartoon s for kids ages 5-9

FIFA is unfairly picked on. It’s a sports game, it shouldn’t be competing in the charts against ‘real’ video games. It’s not for gamers. CoD and Assassin’s Creed (and 80% of the rest of the charts) are the games I get really fed up of.
Halo: ME is a buggy mess, which is bad, but you have to admit the concept is phenomenal fan service, and I’m sure once it’s all patched up it’ll be good for those who like that kind of thing. The Halo series is a cut above the garbage that Ubisoft, EA and Activision provide each year.
