Atlus has confirmed the latest 3DS crossover title featuring the Etrian Odyssey franchise and Mystery Dungeon series will be released in North America next year. Etrian Mystery Dungeon – as it’s known for western audiences – was announced last month for Japan as part of a special livestream for Etrian Odyssey, where the fifth instalment was confirmed. The publisher will be working with Spike Chunsoft in order to bring the delightful crossover title to North America, priced at $39.99, with a Spring 2015 launch window.
While Japanese gamers can grab the game come March 5, 2014, Atlus has yet to specify when western 3DS users will receive the title. Play-Asia, however, lists Etrian Mystery Dungeon for a March release, closer to the intended date for Japan. If you’ve yet to see the Japanese trailer, make sure you check it out above.
Etrian Odyssey seems to be crossing over with many things these days.
To be honest, I wouldn’t mind Fire Emblem crossing over too (assuming Atlus is still working on SMTxFE)
looks awesome
Yawn….
And another “Mai Waifu… Mai Hasbando” game v.6.1
And no hentai, you pervs =D
Yessssssssss the game looks awesome can’t wait
Any word of an Europe release? It’s quite sad that 3DS isn’t region free.
It was expected, but still very nice to hear the confirmation.
I admire Atlus for still trying to release this kind of games outside of Japan. Etrian Odyssey keep failing episode after episode and Persona Q is also selling like absolute shit on 3DS, and yet they will still throw a new Etrian Odyssey at their 1000 Etrian Odyssey fans in the West. You are brave Atlus…
