Don’t Forget The Wii U Digitial Deluxe Promotion Ends At The End Of The Month

We knew it was going to happen but it’s worth reminding people that the Wii U Digital Deluxe Promotion will be ending at the end of this month. So basically you have until the end of the month to claim additional points. Whether Nintendo will reboot the program for 2015 remains to be seen. If they do we will let everyone know.

The deadline for earning points in the Deluxe Digital Promotion is December 31, 2014. Only eligible purchases or eligible download codes used in Nintendo eShop for Wii U before December 31, 2014 will qualify for this promotion. The deadline to exchange your points for an activation code is March 31, 2015.

    1. ive literally gotten it back 12 times … I will have 13 before the end of Dec

so … the WiiU will be taking 1 more step into the grave come Dec 31st … one less incentive

  1. Damn! Just checked mind. I have like $25.00. What the hell is good on the eshop? Not wasting this on some bullshit.

      1. Oh well it’s to late now. Ive already redeemed them. Guess I’ll use to buy the hyrule warriors dlc since now I finally have my fucking game back. It’s 20.00 dollars right?

      1. I honestly don’t even know what earthbound is. I just know ness, Lucas and fucking pk fire. Golden sun: bought it, Mario and Luigi: played it, stick it to the mana: I’m still on the fence, guacamelee: lame.

          1. Idk man I’ll think about it. Does it have replay value and keeps interest? Plus is it short because I fucking hate short games.

                1. I’ll stick my neck on the line and say that I’ve had a ton of fun with nes remix 1/2 from the e shop aswell as castlestorm and tnt racing, I’d recommend steamworld dig but It’s a bit short!?!

            1. Ive beaten it and mother 3 (lucas) about 11 timez each, a whole lot of replayability i still find new things about em as i play em

Why else would this rumor be so serious unless earthbound was THAT GOOD u wont b disappointed man i promise

  2. It shouldn’t end – come on Nintendo keep up with everyone else. I mean Microsoft and sony not making money from their consoles – whereas Nintendo set to make a profit . The other two companies give away free games – more offers and discounts . Nintendo expect people to buy games twice – wiiU – 3ds ( virtual console games ) and have really lame discounts.

    1. false. in an Interview Sony has stated that no money was given to the dev, as they make agreements that it’s for publicity’s sake for the devs

          1. About the movie: I honestly don’t know why people get offended and think it’s racist, it’s just comedy for god’s sake

About the game: Yes it’s stupid, I mean it’s the most expensive VC game right now, which is even less of an incentive for people to buy it.

            1. Nintendo Commander Quadraxis

It’s one of the funniest movies ever and it’s like “racist” against basically everyone which makes it even better…

              I wasn’t even refering to the game…

              1. Nintendo is My Blood Reborn

People find it racist because it basically insinuates that it is acceptable for black people to use white face, while black face is completely unacceptable.
                Remember the backstory to Jynx?

  3. Nintendo is My Blood Reborn

I got R100 back on it, maybe I’ll save it or maybe get that new game Little Dew, it looks promising

    1. The Deluxe Digital Promotion allows players that have purchased the Wii U Deluxe Set to earn points when they purchase downloadable games. Points can then be exchanged for activation codes that can be redeemed to receive credit at the Nintendo eShop.
      Key Points:

Only purchases or downloads made on the Wii U Deluxe Set are eligible for the Deluxe Digital Promotion. Purchases or downloads made via the Wii U Basic Set do not accrue points.
Downloadable content purchased in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U will earn points equivalent to about 10% of the software’s purchase price in the Nintendo eShop. For example, a game priced at $59.99 would earn 599 points.
Content purchased using download codes sold at participating retailers and downloaded in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U will earn points equivalent to about 10% of the software’s list price in the Nintendo eShop.
For every 500 points earned, participants will receive a code worth $5 in credit to be used in the Nintendo eShop, for either Wii U or Nintendo 3DS.
Wii U Deluxe Set owners will earn points on all qualifying purchases made between Nov. 18, 2012, and Dec. 31, 2014.

      1. Thanks! But it sounds like something I wouldn’t care about. Since I never download digital games (aside from Earthbound).

    1. Correct, also it had to be purchased on a black Wii U.

Those free games that people got with that MK8 Promotion also counted towards those points.

  4. I’m at 26 X $5 so basically Nintendo paid for my external hard drive. The only physical game I own is Nintendoland because it came with the console at launch.

  5. To bad I mostly missed out on this since I only just recently got a Wii U in October this year. $10 back is still okay I suppose.

  6. Completely forgot about it after redeeming my first code back in Feb. 2013… I come to find I’ve got 2 unredeemed codes, putting $10 in my eShop account. Now’s the perfect time for me to finally get the Zelda/Animal Crossing DLC pack for Mario Kart 8! ^-^
