A Nintendo fan must have had a surprise when he bought the Marth Amiibo pictured above as it came with two heads. As always when something like this is spotted it makes its way onto eBay. You might not want to look at the ‘Buy It Now’ price as it’s at the ludicrous amount of $1,500.00. I wonder if someone will actually pay that? Stranger things have probably happened, I guess. Do you think it’s completely genuine or simply a fake?

Probably cause it’s a fake. I saw a Waluigi Amiibo in a box. And it appeared to be genuine… except for that it was not.

I have Marth, haven’t seen any more though but I’ll keep an eye out. Lately I only see Mario, Princess, Samus, Pikachu, DK, Link. Zelda, sometimes Luigi, Yoshi, Kirby, and I think that may be it. I look every time I go to a game store or wal mart/ target/toys r us. Never seen a pit in store or little mac or captain falcon. Saw villager a month or two ago and got him with my marth, ordered captain and mac from Toys R Us. I DID see a Diddy Tuesday at gamestop actually. Is Marth the only one you want?

I need marth and pit, plus the original 3 rares. I’m surprised you saw villager and marth on the same day. I have yet to see any of those, and yea I had 2 pits ordered on toys r us and they sent me an email saying they didn’t have any more in stock.
That sucks about your pits dude. I had an e-mail about captain falcon saying they canceled mine too but a few days later got another e-mail saying they were gonna send me one and I got it on Tuesday thank goodness. Yea I’m surprised too about the marth and villager. I was at target and I don’t think there had been a shortage quite yet, I just randomly decided to buy them just in case and really glad I did obviously. I’ll keep on looking for whatever I can though. I still see barcodes on the shelf listing marth wii fit and villager but always empty.

They had with CF but reinstated it and I JUST got it Tuesday. I got 2 Little Macs and had no problem with that. One was for my twin. Are they no longer making pit, villager, marth and wii fit? I remember there was a lot of confusion over them being discontinued already or not.
I stopped chasing after amiibo because they are just too difficult to find and its just a waste of my time. The last few I managed to get were Zelda and Little Mac. And I was lucky cause they were the last ones. I’m really starting to not care anymore. Only reason I bought Marth and Wii Fit Trainer as my first two amiibo was because I feared they would sell out and before rare. And then they actually did. And a lot of amiibo I want are too hard to find and it’s so annoying. I think I’ll just get maybe a Mario character or something since they never run out and then just leave it at that. I was originally planning on getting almost every one of them but I don’t have enough money to buy them all at once. Really disappointed in Nintendo for letting this happen…

Yea I’m only getting my favorites and really rare characters like Ness when he gets announced. Definitely dropping the ball on the amiibo availability nintendo. I never planned on all of them and not certainly not. But I will try for the ones I want. Zelda isn’t too rare by me. All the 3rd parties I’m getting, Duck Hunt, R.O.B., Game & Watch, and maybe a few others if any good sales come up. Don’t blame you for giving up lol it’s a big headache.

I’ve actually been hunting for them everywhere in stores but I couldnt find anything. I looked at 2 Walmarts , a Target and gamestop
They are all fakes. It’s cardboard on plastic… so easy to fake. I can and have done it already. takes about 5 minutes. However, people are stupid so it doesn’t matter if they are fakes or not, someone will still buy it.
My Samus is “defected”. I noticed it after I opened it but I wish I could have brought it back.. maybe I could have?…
Her left arm is missing the black details that’s supposed to be there. More so than that she tilts to one side…
But from all the amiibo pictures I’ve seen (ie, real pics and not the Nintendo photoshopped ones) all Samus amiibos are tilted to one side. Which ticked me off so much that I put tape under her so she would stand up straight.
Samus had to get some posture lessons.

Samus’ stance and Marth’s swords are disappointments but it’s a $13 toy. I try not to lose too much sleep over it. heh

Some of them are getting a little out of hand, I work where we sell Amiibo’s and out of dozens I couldn’t find one defective Amiibo. Im starting to doubt many of these im seeing now.
“Out of dozens” isn’t a reassuring proportion, as you’re assuming 1/12th of 1/24 or etc has a defected. Even 1/100 (or 1%) is a large number considering how many of these are produced.
While I don’t have evidence that these are real, I don’t have evidence that they’re fake either. And who knows? There may very well be one person working in the manufacturing factory who’s screwing these up on purpose. Or maybe it’s a clever ploy to raise hype, since each defected Amiibo hits the gaming blogs and news.

My gods… what counts as a “defective” amiibo is ridiculous. I’m pretty sure ALL of mine are defects if a scuff or fleck-of-miscoloration counts. My Mario had a scuff on the bac of his left pant leg (as if a file had been run over it), my Captain Falcon had a spot of paint chipping on his shoulder piece, and my Samus was so tilted before I even opened it that it looked like a drunk person trying to walk straight. I wish stupid stuff like this would just fade away already….
… I also wish they’d either do something about the stock issues on the Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Marth, Captain Falcon, Pit, and Little Mac or that they’d announce Wave 4 already. I can understand delaying new waves if it means you’re gonna fix the problems with the old waves, but to do neither just ticks EVERYONE off. -_-“

I don’t know why people buy this much expensive amiibo. I bought one luigi amiibo that costs $12.99 in US but I bought it more expensive from Middle East so that was costly for me as it was of $20.5 omg that’s expensive for me. These amiibos are useless and obviously fake as well.
