Nintendo of America and Europe has confirmed during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation that a new Fire Emblem title is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Details are fairly scarce, but the company has confirmed that the game is coming.

So much hype, I was not expecting this at all. But I doubt we’re going to get it before 2016.
Well this was for games coming in Spring, everything announced was coming in Spring, so maybe there’s a chance this could launch late spring. But I do doubt it. I think Nintendo just wanted to start the direct off on a good foot so they showed something new and unexpected.

Okay, excited for this even though I only played Awakening’s demo (hopefully these two aren’t connected story wise), but I seriously hope that since this is coming to 3DS then that means SMTxFE is still happening.
Ive noticed that the console fire emblem games are never as good as the hand held ones,so this is good.

Fire Emblem Awakening did save the franchise from going to Video Game Heaven, so I hope this game continues the things that made Awakening such a good seller.
