Here’s The Sonic Boom Wii U Rise Of Lyric Unofficial Patch Notes

Want to know what’s included in the Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric patch? Well, details have now emerged that the 1GB patch fixes a number of problems with the broken game. Sega and Big Red Button have yet to announce exactly what’s included within the 1GB patch, but scouring the internet it appears as though the following issues have been fixed with the game.

Bug Fixes:

Knuckles Infinite Jump fixed

Some level barriers added to prevent the player from escaping the map. The most notorious example…

This is reported to no longer work, an invisible barrier prevents the player from escaping.

Additions:

Navigation arrows “Small yellow arrows added which show you where to go” (They were in the original, but they now have some issues).

Improvements:

Improved Framerate during speed sections

Loops are ‘less choppy’

Minor lighting improvements

Improved shadows.

      1. Also Sega’s fault for approving that garbage as well as the past 10 years of their own fucking garbage Sonic games and no, Generations doesnt count for the fact that is a celebratory rehash of a single level remaster pre-selected from each game including that disaster Sonic 2006.

          1. Colors were praised well. But Lost World was nothing BUT lost in Sonic’s trail. Meaning the sprint button idea was dumb and the horrible voice acting just makes people wanna slice their ears off.

              1. Like how? Being exploded int his own robot/based thousands of times? Dont even bring Bowser in the argument. lol He has dark magic (not Lord Voldemort level) so he could cheat death as many times as he wish.

  1. Sega made a huge mistake loaning the Sonic franchise to Big Red Button. This game needs to die, patches will not help it. Sonic Lost World is a masterpiece compared to that game.

  2. I have to disagree with 90% of the members here and say that I actually enjoyed the game. It was a good idea, just poorly executed. I do hope there continues to be co-op in the next Sonic games, with improvements to framerate and playability of course. I’m glad the developers are trying to fix the game as they should, though it won’t save it by any means. I have to say one of my biggest displeasures while playing the game was Knuckles’ redesign/personality change. I just don’t get why.

    1. Sonic Boom wasn’t great, but it sure as hell isn’t an atrocity like ’06 and Secret Rings. The reception of Boom is the result of whiny, entitled Sonic fans expecting Sonic Adventure 3 out of a spin-off. Funny thing is that by next year, Sonic fans will be loving Boom and hating the next main Sonic game, because like what happened with Lost World, Sonic fans can NEVER be pleased.

      1. you know, you’re kind of an asshole! Also, you’re either 12 years old or English isn’t your first language.

        1. I should be asking you that. You failed to capitalize your first word and your response is as cliche as a 4 grader trying too hard to memorize a dictionary imposing as a smart person on Youtube for the missing attention his parents never gave him.

    1. no, i think they meant improved shadows like, improved shadows cast by the characters and objects. sometimes in game objects that arent even there cast sad little low-res shadows
