XSeed Games is set to bring Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson to North America this summer. Following Marvelous Europe’s announcement earlier, the US publisher has confirmed the side-scrolling 3DS action game will release alongside PAL versions. Featuring a variety of busty heroines, North American fans can expect the Senran Kagura Burst sequel to see a limited “Double D” retail release, along with a lovely two-disc soundtrack, as well as a digital version on the Nintendo eShop. Unfortunately, the three special editions confirmed for Europe earlier – including the aptly named Happy Boobs Edition – will not be available in North America.
Both XSeed and Marvelous state the localisation process is at a steady rate of progression and expect to announce an official release date soon. Lol. Reminds me of when I had an ecchi comedy fall out of my back pack when my buddy put in on the counter at game stop. He was trading all of his games in and I had a couple of mine in there along with that. The embarrassment reached new levels of wanting to hide under a rock.
What’s funny is I’ve actually gotten into this series as a whole. Obviously, the boob factor made me curious, but it was kind of high paced action, which I enjoyed a lot. Unfortunately, the combat is pretty shallow and it kind of comes down to which character can stun lock the easiest.
If they had a combat system that was like Ninja Gaiden or Bayonetta… omg. lol.

I used to think about getting one of these games too but the gameplay looked repetitive and boring.
I like a game with some fanservice thrown in. But if it’s not fun, I’ll find something else. Just like how I tried out Dead or Alive Dimensions for 3DS because of some of the fanservice but quickly got bored of the game & thus don’t really care about actually playing more in the series.
