          1. FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt

Go look up how many kids cartoons there are relative to adult cartoons. There are literally tv stations devoted to kid cartoons. Sure there are cartoons made for adults, but that number is dwarfed when compared to cartoons for kids.

            1. Cartoons can relate to anyone. Rocko’s Modern Life for instance, a show for kids yet has things that would go over a kids head and would only be appreciated by adults. And then of course you have gems like Futurama that make most modern tv shows look shitty…wait no they do that on their own.

                1. Or maybe its there creative imagination cunt, I hate fucks like you that don’t have a creative bone in there body

                  1. Are you retarded? It is a blatant drug reference. DMT is a psychedelic drug you fucking idiot. It blatantly states that DMT is dripping out of his brain. Now who’s the fucking cunt you jackass. Know what you’re talking about you stupid fuck. And maybe take some DMT yourself seems like you could really use it.

                  2. How does pointing out an obvious drug reference equate to me not having a creative bone in my body? Just cause you are unaware of how blatant adventure time is with drugs doesn’t mean anything about creativity. And if you knew anything, psychedelic drugs like that SPAWN creativity. So yea nice try cunt fuck. Go back to school…on second thought no need cause I just schooled yo ass bitch.

      1. Super Mario 3D Land/World are known as hybrid Mario games because they blend the traditional elements of design from 2D Mario games with stages and obstacles inspired by 3D Mario games (namely 64 and Galaxy).

Super Mario 64/DS, Sunshine, Galaxy, and Galaxy 2 are the only 3D Mario games. And, I agree with most Mario fans that we deserve a brand new 3D Mario game now.

Don’t get me wrong: I love 3D Land/World more so than the NSMB series by a milestone, and when it comes to 3D World, I think of it as my favorite Mario game next to 64 now. But you can’t argue with fans that want a new 3D Mario game because, especially after how great Galaxy 2 was, it’s just pitiful Nintendo has had us waiting over 5 years for a brand new entry to the series.

Yes, 3D World was great, but it anything like the traditional 3D Mario platformers. We are long overdue for a new Mario game, and it probably explains why the Wii U is in the position it is in.

        1. you do realize many people complained that nintendo released a new mario game every year right? and now that we havent had a new main mario game for only 2 year, you are complaining. the wii u is in the position its in because nintendo doesnt know how to market the system, and because there is a lack of games that come out for it, (about one AAA title per month).

  1. It looks fantastic, but aside from the visual aesthetic, it just did not feel like Mario, and the text seems more at home on Halo than the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario is quirky and cute; it is what it is…

  2. Mario will never be like this. It’s meant to be a light hearted game not a deep adventure. Although I would love a fully open world game like n64 Mario but doesn’t seem likely maybe next gen

    1. Eh. Super Mario 64 was definitely not open world.

I would appreciate a more open-ended Mario game to the likes of Mario 64, but Sunshine took that way too far, so there definitely needs to be a balance if they return to that type of design in the next Mario title.

  3. This is really REALLY unimpressive I must say. I’m sure developers could do far better, of course. But if this is all the new unreal engine could do I don’t think anyone would be bragging about it.

  4. Lmao Mario 64 looks like crap compared to this don’t get me wrong I love mario 64 but this looks 1000 times better if you can’t see that you must be blind or retarded

  5. It looks nice, and its a nice tribute but if Ninty ever decided to do the 3D Mario game that we’ve been asking for, then they would blow this out of the water. Their polish and attention to detail is unmatched. Like I said though, this does look nice none the less.

    1. No one said that is was running on an actual Wii U. I’m sure the Wii U logo at the beginning was just to make it feel like a proper game trailer…:D

  6. Looks somewhat cool. Imagine if Nintdndo remade Mario 64 or more likely Mario Sunshine in HD for the Wii U. Or maybe they could release a remake of Sunshine as a launch title for the NX…

    1. I don’t want anymore remakes but if they could make a sequel to Mario 64 or sunshine that would be awesome.

      1. Mario 64 is the one remake I’ve been waiting years for. Let me have just that one damn it lol. Oh and Bomberman 64 on VC!

  7. Good job, but too much brown snd bkack, not vibrant enough, but good try… I dont think Mario and Murder go together either unless ur talking game theory. An open world Bowser game would be amazingbtho.

  8. Srsly cool design and music, but the tale being told is just stupid, The koopa’s weren’t ever killed. Just because he’s one of the last of his kind, doesn’t mean his family was murdered. He’s a villain, the way this guy looks at the tale of Mario seems to be completely in reverse to what it actually is.

  10. is it just me? I don’t consider captain toad treasure tracker and Kirbys rainbow road AAA games. They’re more like tablet games. Awesome Tablet games mind you but small games in that sense you know what i mean?

I just can’t say Nintendo has released a Large game. 3D World felt small scale to me also.. I don’t know what it is. I don’t feel the same level of challenge there anymore.

Something about it seems off. I can’t put my finger on it. It’s missing that feeling of “Epic-ness” like Super Mario Galaxy and Sunshine and Mario 64 felt Epic!!!!!

To me personally the only game I’ve enjoyed thoroughly are Mario Kart 8 and Injustice. Thats it. Wii U is the most expensive mistake I’ve ever purchased. So much so that I can’t say for certain I’ll ever buy another Nintendo Home Console. It certainly won’t be at launch like I have been doing since the N64.

    That stops with Wii U.

Now the handhelds are a different story.. 3 DS is the best handheld ever. It blows my favorite hand held ( GameBoy/Color & Advance) out of the water. !!!
