Here’s A Look At Yooka-Laylee’s Supporting Character Named Trowzer

Playtonic Games have a lot to be happy about as they smashed the ball out of the park with their Kickstarter funded project Yooka-Laylee. The company has now decided to show off the 3D platformer’s first support character whose name is Trowzer. Trowzer is described by the team as a business-snake whose career never really took off. He will now aid Yooka and Laylee by teaching them some awesome moves to show off with.

“Trowzer thinks of himself as the best salesman ever, but with his downbeat appearance and 1980’s mobile phone, life never took off for him.

“He’ll take your money and count it (he’s an Adder…) and because he knows best he’ll even demonstrate the moves you just bought for you to replicate… if you can follow his jiggling.”

“I didn’t want him to be a snake in the traditional sense, and when Gav suggested he should have shorts on (do I have to add shorts to all of my characters?!), a great idea for this was his body could curl back up through the other leg hole. So he’ll move with a certain springiness, which will be fun to animate.”

  1. All though we do respect Playtonic’s decision to try and make a creative character, we believe that the cartoon-ish style will hold the game back from it’s full potential. 6/10-IGN

A new IP. A 3D platformer finally. Nintendo should put extra money for Exclusive features for Wii U version. But they’re too dumb to think of that.

    1. I think Nintendo will be just fine having the game appear on their console, buddy. No need to spend more money when the game is going to be great regardless.

  5. I have to say, this is one of the best video game characters Iv ever seen. I mean its a snake wearing shorts!
