Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures is set to make its Nintendo 3DS debut later today, June 4, via the Nintendo eShop for $9.99. The retro-inspired 2D action game, which launched April 2 on Wii U, features the AVGN (Angry Video Game Nerd) and friends as they blast their way through 10 levels. It includes multiple playable characters, power-ups, cameos and hidden secrets.

Uh, I never said anything about “recently”, but if you’re going to ignore something just because of the date it was done, then you’re again being willfully ignorant. Nor do I dispute the fact that not smoking at all is better than smoking anything, including marijuana – but compared to vices like smoking tabacco and drinking, marijuana isn’t the “big bad drug” everyone makes it out to be. If someone wants to imbibe in their own free time, they should certainly be able to do so as long as it only affects them and doesn’t hurt others around them.
While I don’t agree with life choices people make regarding smoking, drinking, etc., it doesn’t make them “retarded” if they choose to do so, before or after doing so. I still can’t believe that Nintendo approved this game for the Wii U (and now 3DS). Every time I’m playing it on my Wii U, I’m like “MAN, I can’t believe I’m seeing this foul language on a Nintendo console”.
As much of a fan as I am of the AVGN, I do get sick of his constant foul language. I can never show his videos to my family. In fact, I’m currently censoring every episode of the AVGN from my DVD’s I ordered just so I can let my niece (and maybe others) watch them. And it’s a GRUELING task! I censored over 600 bad words just from Volume 1. Just goes to show how over-the-top his bad language is.

Nintendo was never ever against swearing or violence. It was just in the US and EU during the 80’s and 90’s before we had rating boards.
