At the start of May, Project CARS launched for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and now after a month of being out it has sold 1 million copies. It’s also the highest selling racing game on the PlayStation 4. Project CARS is to come to a Nintendo platform at some point, but they’re having difficulty with the Wii U and so we might have to wait until the NX is out– looks like we’ll be waiting for a long time. Head of Slightly Mad Studios, Ian Bell, has said:

Hey but this is a simulator where you can experience stuff you can’t experience in real life. I’m only 10 year old so I can’t drive in real life. But with this game hooked up to USB steering wheel, it gives me the feel that I am driving. Not literally driving but yeah, I’m driving a car.
Project cars is a good simulator , poor game. It lacks a ton of features to game it a great game. But a very good simulator.

It still sold well. Not selling a million doesn’t mean it wasn’t a success. Splatoon is actually a raving success from what I can tell. I bet it will sell a million worldwide in a month.

Mario Kart 8 released in May of 2014 and it is now June of 2015. It took 14 months to hit a million in sales in Japan. No WAY Splatoon could do the same in it’s first week.

1 million is not that impressive. Bayonetta 2 couldn’t get a sequel because it only sold 1 million across all platforms. This isn’t a game that will have lasting power either. That’s about it. It may reach 1.5 million after all is said and done. In this day and age..that is not a success considering how much they spent on developing and advertising

Dummy, Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive and if it did sold one million on Wii U alone compare to the first game which did 2.4 million on PS3/360 combined in 2 1/2 years, that’s impressive.

Wrong. I have been playing Bloodbourne, Dark Souls 2, Diablo 3 and Witcher 3. Those four games have kept me busy for The first half of 2015. Those four games are masterpieces… The Wii U has had nothing to play all year until the amazing Splatoon released…

There is also Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. Also, games don’t have to be released in the same year to be playable. Wii U has kept me busy with Smash Bros. 4 and it has other great games in its back catalog that I have yet to complete like Shovel Knight and Earthbound.
I also, personally, have yet to play Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Rayman Legends, Lego City Undercover,Child of Light and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
Splatoon just came out and that is keeping me VERY busy at the moment. Even cut into my Smash Bros. playing time.
I’m not going to lie. I WISH I had a PS4 right now so I could play Bloodborne. that game caught my eye way back when it was first shown off. I will want to play it at some point, but I can’t buy a PS4 for that one game.. It’s the only PS4 game I want to play, though.

Smash Bros is worth it. Hyrule Warriors is worth it, Bayonetta 2 (comes with the first) is worth it and Splatoon is DEFINITELY worth it. Splatoon is probably my second or third favorite game on the console.
Smash Bros will always be my first favorite game and Bayonetta 2 is fabulous. Mario Kart 8 was fun when it first came out, but I got a little irked by people that play online so it isn’t that fun anymore.
I find all of those games you mention quite boring, as an adult who isn’t into PC type games. So I am having trouble mustering any kind of excitement for the other two consoles at this point. I slightly more excitement for the Xbox One because it could replace my Xbox 360 as my DVD player cause of the voice commands would be nice. I got an Xbox360 for arcade style games and its been pretty much a disappointment. Hopefully someone will enter the market and not suck it up or atleast cater to different market.
Right now, I am just settling with a Nintendo Console, its the least sucky this generation.

Sell millions upon millions of this game on other consoles so when, or even if, it hits the Wii U, Slightly Mad Studios can show their true colors even more when they blame the Wii U owners for not supporting their game that they lied to us about for the past 2 years that supposedly, from SMS own words, looked great & was working great for the Wii U. I still can’t help but think Bandai Namco getting involved with the game’s development might be the real reason the Wii U version is getting revealed to be getting shafted. If that is the case: in one hand, Bandai Namco helped in making Smash 4 for Wii U, while in the other hand, they held a knife behind their back & stabbed us in ours with it.
