It was already known that Yoshi’s Woolly World would have amiibo integration, however now we have an idea how. Nintendo UK’s Wii U YouTube Channel published a video detailing who amiibo work in the cutesy-dinosaur title. It seems like amiibo (shown: Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, and Peach) will give the Yoshi’s a LittleBigPlanet-esque costume, while the Yarn Yoshi amiibo will created Double Yoshi.
Yoshi’s Woolly World will be available on Wii U starting June 26th in Europe, followed up by a Fall release for North America.

I believe that the Woolly amiibo have the same NFC as the standard Yoshi, so probably :)
