Bloodstained Adds Surprise $5.5 Mil Stretch Goal For Final 6 Hours

With a whopping $5.16 million in their piggy bank, ArtPlay has decided to up the ante for their last 6 hours on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s Kickstarter. Only hours ago, backers demolished the gap necessary to get the console/handheld prequel and Roguelike Dungeon Mode. However, the newest stretch goal hopes to bring a Boss Revenge Mode:

At $5.5 million you have the opportunity to unlock Boss Revenge Mode:

* Control several different bosses
* Utilize their special attacks to wreak havok
* Explore a new BOSS REVENGE area
* Turn the tables and defeat “Hero” Bosses in your pursuit of humanity’s destruction

Can you do it? It may depend on how quickly you can recruit new members into your army.

This underdog story seems to have no end — we will see how deep backers’ pockets and aptitude for generosity is by the end of the day.

    1. They reached the previous stretch goal so they had to add something to keep the money coming. And stretchgoals really do reflect what game development is like: more funding, more content.
