We heard earlier today about the crossover between Skylanders and Nintendo’s very own Toys to Life series, amiibo. IGN quizzed Disney Interactive vice president of production John Vignocchi about whether there’s a chance that a Disney crossover could ever happen as it’s something some fans have been hoping for. Vignocchi says that he would love for that to eventually happen, but nothing is on the cards just yet.
“Hopefully, the day Mario meets Mickey Mouse is not that far away,” Disney Interactive vice president of production John Vignocchi said in an interview.
John Blackburn, Disney Interactive’s Avalanche Software vice president and general manager, joked that the dream team will happen whenever Disney CEO Bob Iger “buys Nintendo.”

Wolverine/X-Men movies were done and owned by Fox you moron and they’re the ones who once fucked the series with X-Men 3 and then Wolverine. Marvel themselves didn’t ruin any of their own franchise. Maybe it’s there mistake to sell off their key rights to dickheads like Fox. But they had troubles back then. Now thanks to MCU, Marvel is bigger and better than ever. D.C is alright with the cartoons in a serious note but they’re seriously going too dark toned and serious with their story that sometimes it seems it was taken too far to appease their fanbase who thinks maturity is always the best way for comics. No it’s not and sometimes it’s better to add a little fun and humor on the side. Look at Man of Steel. It split its own fanbase for that very reason with the whole darker toned Superman and destruction porn which I personally didn’t have an issue with.
How I see it, both Marvel and DC are good in polar opposites: Marvel movies rock and DC animated rocks.

No, even though Nintendo did pretty bad this E3, this wasn’t the first time. Remember 2008 with the Wii Music and Wii Sports Resort? That was a colossal fail. Even though Nintendo messes up, they usually get back up. But this time Nintendo don’t have the fans as much as they did with the Wii. Nintendo should start catering for their fans and actually start making games what the fans want.

A lot of their direct was focused on what’s already released, which was shitty and totally sucked, but even if we didn’t hear about anything new coming that’s worth while (besides Star Fox), there’s still a boat load of games coming like Xenoblade, Yoshi’s Wooly World, Zelda U, Mario Maker, tons of stuff. Just… none of it is “new”. Disney buying Nintendo is a worse fate for us all.

AGREED. I think a lot of the internet’s hate is just an overreaction. I am so glad someone else see’s it this way. Their E3 event was very lackluster, besides Star Fox, there was an over saturation of 3DS games, and too many old announcements everyone knew about, there was nothing “new”. but by no means is Nintendo in a bad position. In a few months, people will be lining up to buy Yoshi’s Wooly World, or Xenoblade, because it’s not like they didn’t have any games come, they just had nothing new to show off, but they always had plenty of games. And yeah, lots of experimenting. I don’t know how wise it was to use Metroid’s brand for something else, or to make an Animal Crossing party before making an actual Animal Crossing on the Wii U, but everyone makes mistakes.
