It’s been too long since we have seen the members of Star Wolf — at least, that is what Yusuke Hasimoto, Director of Platinum Games thinks. Specifically, in a Tweet earlier today, Hashimoto confirmed that the members of Star Wolf would be making a return to Platinum’s upcoming Wii U exclusive, Star Fox Zero.

However, who exactly is Star Wolf? Fledgling Star Fox fans may recognize Wolf O’Donnell from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. However, Star Wolf is the team of mercenaries that he leads (comprised of Leon Powalski, Panther Caroso, Andrew Oikonny, Pigma Dengar, and (possibly) Krystal) that has strong associations to the infamous Andross. Besides working as mercenaries, the dabble in other illegal and illicit activities across the solar system. So far they have appeared in four other Star Fox titles: Star Fox 64/3D, Star Fox Assault, and Star Fox Command.
Star Fox Zero will release Holiday 2015.

Oh and I’m looking to buy a PS4. Anyone on here own a Wii U and PS4 who can tell me the best place and or time to buy a PS4 for the cheapest possible? I’m asking people around the internet to gauge a best option.
I found one on Amazon for $321.99 in good condition. That, so far, is the lowest price I have found. Normally I wouldn’t be too hesitant to drop money down for a new console, but I plan on still supporting the Wii U with a few titles (Star Fox, SMT x FE, Woolly World) as well as the 3DS (new Zelda Game, Mario RPG meets Paper Mario) as well as the PS4 and that means I will be spending a lot more money than usual. I just don’t want to run too low. I’m looking for the best deals out there to maximize my purchases. As a college student, gaming has to come second unfortunately.
Check out Cowboom its owned by best buy. The consoles are used just check the descriptions to see what they come with and the condition of the exterior of the system. That’s where I got an xbox one.

I’d advise you against it. I’m planning to get one too, but many of the most anticipated titles don’t have a release date. I don’t know how much time you spend playing (or what you have already played on the Wii U, for that matter), but the Wii U 2015 releases and some other previously released titles should be enough to keep you entertained. You also have more chances to find a cheaper PS4 if you wait a bit longer, it’s still pretty new.
I hope Krystal isn’t with them.

This would not be a bad new if they improve the game.
The possibility has crossed my mind, but I don’t think they will. The extra hands from Platinum should help a lot. I’m hohopingt gets delayed if it means the final game will be better, though.
After it being worked on for 6 fucking years, it wont happen.
I won’t bet against you. In fact, I won’t be surprised either if this game gets delayed for 2016 as we near the release date.

Again… I love platinum games… I’ll probably buy this game out of support of them, not Nintendo.
They are probably already paid so there wont be much support. So if you buy the game itll go directly to nintendos bank. suggestion is to praise the work they put on the game and not buy it if you dont want to support nintendo
Couldn’t we see a wolfen in the trailer? And Pigma appeared on a mission played by the Treehouse stuff. Hardly groundbreaking news.

This was already revealed in an interview with Miyamoto way back when the game was confirmed and we can even see them in the trailer. Also I’m pretty sure Panther is gone now

What about Krystal? She’s a great wonderful character to return.
Star Fox Zero is a reimagining of Star Fox for the SNES & Star Fox 64, which was a remake of the SNES original, so Krystal most likely won’t reappear unless she appears in a cameo at some point since she doesn’t even exist at this moment in time.
Iam excited that wolf is making a return he was one of the best characters and best rival of fox mccloud and that would really heat up star fox zero cant wait for it to come out trailer of the game looks so awesome
this is why i voted for wolf on the smash bros ballot page hopefully he will return as dlc
