Super Mario Maker Will Come With 100 Pre-Made Mario Levels On Disc

According to the Nintendo UK’s website for Super Mario Maker, the build-your-own-stage game will come packaged with 100 levels on the disc. These levels will be playable from the get-go, without requiring any download from the internet.

Super Mario Maker has been receiving a ton of attention since Nintendo World Championships, whether it be physics, amiibo integration, or simply the name change. Super Mario Maker is due out this September 11th as a Wii U exclusive.

        1. Still on the fence about Fatal Frame. Fast Neo Racing is shaping up really well so far, but sadly it’s going to take some time until it releases.

          1. Fatal Frame is a love it or hate it game.
Some people (like myself) love the game because its pretty cool how they use a camera instead of guns to scare away the ghosts, and it’s not zombies or any other monsters.

Others hate it for the pace of the game because it’s pretty slow the begin with.

                1. When Miyamoto said back in 2012 (maybe 2013, I don’t recall) that people at Nintendo did not know what to do with the series… Man, that was really frustrating.

The details are not known, but now we know that Criterion refused to develop a new F-Zero installment. Maybe because of NFS Most Wanted feud between Alex Ward and Nintendo of Japan.

                  1. Yeah, that’s what I was refering to with ‘at least we know Nintendo wants to make a new one’. I’m optimistic about it, it seems to be just a matter of time before we get a new one. Same thing happened with Star Fox.

        1. My wallet is starved after E3 with Fallout 4, Doom 4, The Division, Ghost Recon: Wildlands (that one made my privates tingle… I love Ghost Recon), Star Fox Zero, Super Mario Maker, Gears 4, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Rare Replay Collection, Dreams, RIGS, Ratchet & Clank, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Final Fantasy 15, Fire Emblem Fate (I’m getting both like the greedy bastard I am) and Happy Home Designer… that last one was a joke but the rest I’m excited for.

          1. Fallout 4 will be a blast!

I’ve been away from Ghost Recon since Advanced Warfighter 2 — I think it’s time to revisit it, isn’t it?

On FE Fates… I think we have yet to hear whether or not we are going to have both games in just one SKU.

    1. 100 levels is pretty good but I’d still recommend a price of £35 for the game.

Still, I’ll buy it anyway because I’m currently learning the ropes of Game Development and this game looks to be a great tool in making good level designs :)

      1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

        >>>£40 at most I guess, specially since the prices in EU are higher than the cheap US ones>>>

  1. This game could be $100 retail and that would still be a steal you get to make Mario stages and upload them on the internet.

  2. I hope this game has a top levels category for online content or something in that area. I’m guessing it’s going to be filled with crappy levels from ppl just like little big Planet lol

    1. Apparently there’s a ranking system, so assuming you can sort based on rank, I wouldn’t be so sure of that.

  3. I don’t mind it’s $60 price tag because of how fully customizable it is, but I think a $50 price tag would be more reasonable and fair. It’s a day one purchase for me regardless

100 levels is like more than a typical Mario game!!! :O

Definitely worth the buy now, for sure!

  6. I still keep wondering if there will be any actual single-player story in this? If that’s all you do is create stages and then play them (and play others stages online), I can see me getting bored with this game super fast (like, after the first few times playing). Even faster than I did with Smash Bros. for not having a story mode.
