We already heard that Nintendo will allow gamers to marry one of two characters of the same gender in Fire Emblem: Fates and today they have confirmed that those characters will be Shara and Zero. Gamers that decide to play Birthright and are a female character will be able to marry Shara. Those that decide to play Conquest as a male character will be able to marry Zero. Here’s some details regarding the two bisexual characters.
Shara is actually the child of Tsukuyomi, a unit that joins the player in Chapter 8 of Birthright. Shara is a peculiar character, comparable to Tharja from Fire Emblem: Awakening in her bluntness, and goes so far as to stalk those she believes may be compatible with her.
Zero, on the other hand, is not the child of another unit. A former thief, Zero is known for his sadistic nature and enjoys watching people suffer. Both characters are bisexual, and can still marry units of the opposite gender.

I’ve said my piece. I was trying to tolerate this blog for posting about the gay characters in Fire Emblem but I no longer can. So, I will be unfollowing this blog.
I know all of you will brush this off, but I can tell you there’s no point to living on the earth unless there’s actually a God, so I will have to bid you all farewell. I hope at least one of you sees the light.

Look, not everybody needs to know the answers to the Universe and what exists, and why. I don’t give two shits. I’m just glad it does and I can enjoy life as it is. I can hang out with my favorite friends, eat my favorite foods, and play my favorite Nintendo games happily and not have to have a single thought about the future. All I have to do is enjoy life as it is, and go along with my day. I don’t NEED a God to go about my day, but I can sure as hell have one. You didn’t have to go here and tell people what they believe is wrong, just like I’m not going to tell you that what you believe is wrong. Just like I don’t need a higher deity, you can just as easily choose to have one. All we need to do as human beings, is live, be respective of others beliefs, love, and just go about your day.
Yes people need to be loving and respectful, but to tell me I can’t say anything is like telling me I might hurt the feelings of a man driving straight towards a cliff if I warn him. It’s just not going to happen, I cannot in good conscience keep this info to myself.

First off, God is too perfect for hate. He is just. Secondly, he did not make people gay. According to the Bible, the first people were Adam and Eve, who represented the whole human race. They were tempted by Satan, they failed the test, and because they represented all of humanity, all of humanity fell into a state of sin. Gay people are also sinners. I am not lessening the sin of homosexuality, it is terrible, but no, God does not say, “You’re going to be gay, and because you’re gay, you’re going to hell.” It’s their fault and theirs alone.
As for Caitlyn Jenner, I don’t know who that is and I’m not going to look it up, so don’t ask, but as for creating people’s personalities the way they are, I can’t answer that. I’m not God. It is much much easier to say a higher deity did it. Just like it’s easier to say x=3 than to calculate what x is equal to when 2x is devided by 2 and with three subtracted from that. I’m a Christian myself and don’t believe in gay marriage, but that won’t stop me from enjoying the game. I’ll simply see both characters as straight. There are so many people who no longer believe in God, I live in the Bible Belt so religion is still heavy down here, but that won’t change my beliefs. I’ll live my life according to the Bible and everyone else can live there’s however. Of course if God isn’t real then us Christians lose this battle, but if he is (and he is) I always tell people that we’ll see where they end up. Not to talk about the Bible (because I know that half of the people here are most likely atheists), but, just like Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You never know with the ERSB. They rated Melee T, because of ‘violence’, even though the first Smash was rated E and it had just as much violence. Sometimes the ERSB’s logic is flawed.
Melee added in other things that bumped the rating. Original Smash Bros. was rated E for JUST animated violence (that’s it). Melee was rated T for Comic Mischief, and “Mild Violence.” The violence in Melee was a step up from the original game. There were more moves, it was more realistic and just overl appeared more brutal.

I think i’m bi, i’m still confussed though, but, i think games, movies and books should focus on story and experience and leave sexuality religion and other shit apart, i’m sorry but it has come too far, please no hate just neutral things.
Ehhhhhhhhhhhh maybe not everything, but some at least. Otherwise it’d be unrealistic and forcing everyone to be straight (like how people don’t want to be forced to be gay) would continue LGBTQ rights attacking the gaming industry.
Sexuality, religion and other shit are PARTS of stories and experiences found in movies, books and whatnot.
You can’t have one without the other. Characters have relationships, characters have beliefs, characters do other shit. If you leave them all bland as to “not offend anyone then you would be left with really boring characters who are all the same. Being gay, being a different religion, etc, etc, it adds variety and helps other people identify with characters. Don’t you think it would be easier to identify with a bi character who is struggling with his or her identity then it would be with a confident straight person?

At the very least, it’s a step in the right direction. Maybe they made it only one option per gender to test the waters.
…Or it could be like why the developers of Awakening didn’t give the models feet (at the time, they didn’t think there was enough room left on the card for the polygons needed for feet though this was proven wrong after release). We might not know for certain unless they tell us directly why there are only two bisexual relationship possibilities.

Don’t like Shara, my interest in this game is gone. Oh well, I got Halo 5, Star Wars Battlefront, Sonic Boom, MM3D, Splatoon and a bunch of N64 and GC games on my to-buy list to look forward to.
