Suda 51 Hopes To Release No More Heroes 3 By 2040

In a recent interview with GamesReactor, legendary developer Goichi Suda “Suda 51” (No More Heroes, killer7, Killer is Dead) hopes to revisit the No More Heroes franchise. The last game in the series came out on Wii in 2010, with no word since. While Suda 51 is interested in continuing the series, he says it is unlikely to happen anytime soon — specifically, he hopes to gave it release in the next 15 to 25 years. Read the full excerpt below:

Yeah, No More Heroes 3, I get a lot of requests from fans and I’m very grateful for that, but I’m thinking it may happen within 15 years or so? (laughs). Maybe not through Kickstarter, but GungHo would of course be supportive if that were to happen. I think I have the vision that Travis forgot something, so I really have to have him to go back and get back what he has forgotten. But yeah, I definitely want to make it possible, but I also want to create something new, so maybe within 15 to 25 years (laughs)!

  1. He’s gonna outsource development to tha hood. That’s why it’s gonna take so long. That’s two weeks in black people time.

    At least they tell us.

Still no word on Metroid. For all we know, the next “real” one will come out in 2040 as well.

  3. He’s 51 now…. 2040 is 25 years away…

I think he’d be well past retirement by the time he’s 76.

  4. Title it No More Heroes 3: Uprising. Because, just like Kid Icarus: Uprising, we didn’t see a new Kid Icarus game until 25 years later.

  5. Wow just wow. NMH is one of my favorite games. I thought they were going to make one for NX. Well damn,

  6. The world want even be here then u japanese bastard laughs……..Nintendo is pro homosexual with fire emblem fates….everyone get ready fir the Anti christ And Nintendo will be sucking his Dick…

  7. Screw No More Hero’s. The first game was hella clunky. It had some good times.

But really I’d love to see Killer 7 (2) or something. Killer 7 is still one of my favorite shooters. Awesome, weird as hell game.

      1. I prefer Travis from Killer 7. If it’s supposed to be the same Travis, I don’t see it.

Really there’s nothing wrong with NMH, I played the first game and enjoyed it for a while. But the clunky driving and oddball camera work was to much for me. Also, traversing in general was a little weird. When I think about it really, it could probably have been a great game. Shit, now you’ve got me wanting to play it again just to give it the chance…

        1. Did you play the second one? It doesn’t have any of the problems you just described. It’s like a hud where you pick what you want and it’s quick travel. So you can do a few side missions for money and fight boss battles afterwards.

          1. The second one lacks a lot of the charm the first one had, sadly. Also the story makes zero sense… It is even worse than the first’s story lol

  8. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

He does a lot of laughing. Either he’s joking & this game is actually coming out in the next few years or he’s being a total asshole & is making fun of people that want a new one.
