One thing I get asked a lot is whether Minecraft is coming to the Nintendo 3DS or Wii U. Mojang COO Vu Bui firmly believes that the immensely popular IP should be on as many platforms as possible and that includes the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS. However, Bui wouldn’t explain why they have decided against releasing it on Nintendo platforms. It could come, but it is more likely that it would appear on Nintendo’s next platform. You never know though.
“If I had my way, we’d be on everything,” COO Vu Bui said. “We want to continue to be available to all players, and that means being on new platforms because everyone uses something different.” Could that include Nintendo machines? “I’ve never heard a reason why we haven’t ended up on Wii U or 3DS. It just hasn’t happened yet.”

No, its on PC, also Sony, android, and IOS. I have a feeling they well worry about a Nintendo version after then finish the updated windows10/xbox version, and its story mission DLC. they are also bringing it to hololense so that’s a lot of developing work. Plus those updates might come to pocket addition and Sony devices. A Wii U/3DS would have last priority, but that doesn’t mean it’s not coming. Ita just not a priority

You mean that port from Tantalus? I doubt its Minecraft, its more likely that its either cancelled or some lame Ubisoft title at this point.
Any 3rd party game from 2014-now could be that port but since we still haven’t heard anything from them may be a bad sign. Either it’s cancelled, the port is taking a while to complete, they are working on a game releasing in 2016, or they moved to the NX

Telltales is releasing Minecraft Story Mode to all the original platforms. I don’t know how this works but Rare was still able to continue releasing game for Nintendo handhelds even after being purchased

So the Wii U is often referred to as a “kid’s console”, yet there’s no Kingdom Hearts, Castle of Illusion, Minecraft or more Call of Duty coming to the system.
I forgot to mention, there’s already a clone in eShop and it’s not as shitty (while also not as pathetic) as Ucraft (or should I say Ucrap) and it’s almost as identical as the real thing. So no, don’t even bother bringing this to Nintendo because everyone knows it’s not gonna happen.

It’s really strange it hasn’t hit the Wii U at the very least. They put it on Vita, which isn’t as popular as 3DS, but not Wii U? I can understand if it couldn’t be rendered on the original 3DS, but with the New 3DS they definitely don’t have any limitations that could be a reason for not releasing it. It’s a lot of fun, and I think the 3D effects could be fun and the touch screens could make things a lot easier.
Can I play it on PS4 version? What requirement for this?
