As I suspected it looks as though Liam Robertson from Unseen64 was initially right as sources close to Nintendo of America have stated that the company is now considering publishing Devil’s Third themselves after all the backlash from disgruntled fans. Understandably fans were displeased to learn that Nintendo of America wouldn’t be publishing the game and were rather vocal about this on social media and various forums. This has made Nintendo of America think twice about publishing the game because if the enthusiasm is there, then why not publish it? We did hear from ever reliable Emily Rogers that the game was going to be picked up by XSEED, however in light of things, that looks set to change with Nintendo of America considering publishing the action-packed title themselves.

There’s absolutely nothing new to look forward to and their E3 proved that they have contradicted everything.
They said to show nothing but 2015 games? They mostly revealed (not even exciting) more than half of the presented games for 2016 and oddly enough, they’re all 3DS games. Nothing new for Wii U at all, not even for 2015.
All the games they showed were already known months ago so no surprises or hype.
Half of what they showed weren’t even close to what the remaining core fans wanted. Take Metroid for example. They once again killed that franchise with an entire pitcher of salt and manages to be an even bigger insult than Other M was. Animal Crossing for Wii U suffered the same level of insult on fans. A fucking Mario Party-board game instead of an actual simulated social game the fans asked for? You can’t defend that shit in any possible way.

Other M basically destroyed and disrespected Prime’s fans, Retro’s 7-9 years of work and it’s purpose of existence in the lore plus ruined Samus’s strong characterization while undermining Adam’s. Now this “Federation Force” and it’s fucking unfitting chibi style graphics that somehow looks worse than the DS’s top 3D visuals and it’s space soccer party game only insults the fans like me ever further especially after praying and waiting 5 years (technically 8 years since Prime 3 is the superior game to Other M) for a real Metroid game to come and restore its faith. Federation Force, again, is, feels and looks nothing like Metroid/Prime in any sense, shape or form by the least. The producer/director of Metroid clearly have no fucking idea how to handle Metroid anymore and what’s more sad is that a Japanese couldn’t handle their own IP better than the Americans did (Retro Studios revived and evolved Metroid in ways Nintendo couldn’t think of nor had the balls to do)

Why not make a 3rd Mario Strikers, a game people actually want more than another Wii Sports Tennis with Mario slapped in it? Star Fox Zero is merely an HD remake of 64. That isn’t that important of an event….e3 is just one of many events throughout the year. They space out throughout the year for the different trade shows.
E3 is more Sony’s and Microsoft big event, because of how they perceive and schedule gaming.
Just and FYI, Wii U for all regions except Japan have slowly picked up. Japan’s Wii U sales weren’t bad to begin with (i.e. sold faster than PS3 and PS4 from beginning of life until comparable timeframe).
How many locals actually heard or watch any other events besides E3 which is widely the most known gaming convention in the list.

Nintendo could have easily published it themselves and they would have avoided the backlash. But, One good thing came out this. At least the game got some publicity, more than Nintendo would have ever given it.
Nintendo of America needs to stop beating around the bush! They did it with Pandora’s Tower and The Last Story? Do they not understand that America is more profitable with games that have a high demand like this, than in Japan.
