This week’s UK charts are now in thanks to GFK Chart Track. There were only a couple of new entries this week which were Rory McIlroy PGA Tour for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and also God of War 3 Remastered for the PlayStation 4. Sadly Yoshi’s Woolly World slipped out of the top twenty individual-formats charts and Splatoon held on at twenty. Still, it is encouraging to see Splatoon doing so well as it is a Wii U title and a brand new IP for Nintendo. I should think they are still relatively pleased. Here’s the best-selling video games this week.

What a depressing place the UK is…
Are you looking at a different list? The top 30 has a wide diversity of games and game types. Nintendo would have to regularly release Wii U games for more Wii U games to appear in the list.
The “Top 30″only has about 16 games in it.
That’s merely how the list is constructed and has nothing to do with the diversity present. Of course a hot new game is going to sell well across the multiple platforms it’s available on. While I agree there should be a separate list where multi-platform releases are combined and we have a true top 30 of 30 unique games, if this particular list uses a different methodology, so be it. There’s value in its approach as well.
I’m starting to think that listing only follows 1 or 2 market chains in UK.
