It seems as though Nintendo Europe is re-releasing Tomodachi Life in the Netherlands. The game was originally released there in English, but it seems as though Nintendo want to push the game again, so they are re-relasing it in Dutch. This is rather a surprising move as most gamers in the Netherlands are used to playing their games in English. It could well have something to do with the upcoming Tomodachi Life Friendship Fiesta.

Ugh, I hated that the games were all dutch on my wii u when i bought it, I immediately put it on english! I hate my language in games it just doesnt fit at all and it always looks so stupid in games like mario
Lol, I had exactly the same issue. When I bought smash and saw that Final Destination was called ‘eind station’ I turned it to english immediately.
If they don’t add kalfsborst as a new food item, this will be an utter waste.

I wish they’d release Tomodachi Life on the WiiU, I think it would actually work pretty well with the gamepad. Plus, seeing how well the game did, especially in Japan, it could have potential to push the WiiU sales.
But yea, unfortunately, it’s probably never going to happen.

I don’t mind it that it will be in Dutch, I like my language in games(uncharted 3). BUT WHY? re-releasing an update will be better becuz people who bought it won’t buy it again for a language difference. Splatoon was a game that I wanted Dutch same with pokemon, but Tomodachi life nah not to big of a game for it. Maybe becuz it sold well in The Netherlands , despite that the dutch are serious gamers(strategy) and teens for gta v like games

but i am going to be frank with you i don’t even like to play Tomodachi life in the European version, i dunno…the American version looks over the top and then you have the British version which all of my friends from Britain stopped playing.
i mean the EU ver. looks toned even more down that the US ver. and just for other reasons like name changes that are utherly stupid (i am looking at you mario kart)
i think i will fully go and buy myself an American NX because i can’t stand changes that don’t make any sense to me.
