Palutena Amiibo Will Be Available For North American Fans On Amazon Shortly

Amazon will open orders for their timed Palutena amiibo sale very soon. North American amiibo collectors will shortly be able to purchase Kid Icarus’ Goddess of Light exclusively from the online retailer at 2pm PT or 5pm ET. So make sure you get your details at the ready and are logged into your account to secure your order. With many amiibo still hotly sought after across a number of regions, Palutena – although “ample” in quantity – is guaranteed to sell quickly, with Amazon stating the following below. You can purchase Palutena at the link here, when the event goes live.

Purchases are limited to 1 per customer, and 1-Click Ordering will be disabled for this item. Please make sure you’ve updated your credit card and shipping information to help you move quickly through the checkout process.

We have ample quantities of this amiibo, but we still expect to sell out. Please act quickly at 2:00 p.m. PT on Friday for your best chance at buying Palutena. Demand is expected to be very high, and there’s no guarantee that she will remain in stock for long.

Earlier today, the Nintendo UK store updated its amiibo selection and added the likes of Shulk, Rosalina and Luma and Meta Knight back into their stocked ranks. Though the above mentioned have long since sold out, a number of characters are still available for purchase, including Palutena.

  1. I went as long as I could without making an Amazon account… Oh well, if this is what forces me to create one, so be it.

        1. I see, I’ve actually become the other way around but only because I feel like going to store and staying in line takes away time that I could be using in other ways.

          1. I currently work retail so I know firsthand what kind of crap retail workers could suddenly have to put up with in the blink of an eye. I prefer to shop in person so I can try to make THEIR experience better (strike up a conversation, thank them for their help, etc.). People in retail have a lot less power than outsiders realize, but I try to be the kind of consumer who makes them feel worse about their situation.

    1. I can get one easily, seems like americans have missed out on this amiibo, well the ones that cant use amazon, like kids or… those who dont know about it. In australia, this ‘exclusive’ palutena amiibo is quite common: i hate it.

  2. 5 PM Eastern? That means 4 pm for me. And it’s 4 minutes after 4 pm. The page won’t load. Well that says it all. I’ve missed it as there are probably too many people on the page trying to order it, cutting it off for most of us. *sigh*

  3. *refreshes “Your Orders” page again & again & again & again* Yes! It’s been ordered! But I’m not out of the fire yet. I won’t be entirely happy til I get an email saying the damn thing has been shipped. *starts praying just for the hell of it*

    1. Yay for being able to do open the same link in multiple tabs by just right clicking when using Firefox. I’ve already ordered mine but I did this again & it’s still in stock. So yeah. It seems they do have a decent sized stock. That or it’s so bad with so many people ordering it that only one or two people get through at one time & that’s why it’s still in stock.

  4. She had better sell out fast and be rare as hell!
This is only the second amiibo I’m buying solely based on sheer collecting.
If I didn’t think she’ll become valuable and sought-after I probably wouldn’t have stressed it soo much.

    1. Knowing our luck, Palutena is the start of Nintendo of America finally getting the stock right & the fuss we made to order her today is now moot.

  5. Yeah, traffic has slowed down and she STILL is available. I guess us frantic, jaded fanboys had everything all clogged up at 4:00p Watch she will always be in stock like Silver Mario, lol

  6. Seriously your the fucking UK so quit spilling the beans about our shit alright. WE got our emails letting us now. Don’t be running this be helping people who are not from North America and quit helping the fucking scalpers. I was able to get mine ordered but seriously use your an brain next time fucking hell.

  7. It’s dumb that there’s only 1 per customer. But I understand why. I was only able to pre-order it for my niece. So if I myself ever want one I guess I’ll have to import from Japan.

    1. Could have made a separate account, they were allowing 2 per address.
I ended up being able to snag 2 myself. One for me and one for my bro.

      1. Don’t be stupid. This is clearly not the only website that posted about it, people who are interested in the amiibo probably found out way before it was posted on here. Use some logic you rat.

        1. Half the people in the comments didn’t even know about this Intel the dumb site posted it. Also learn too be nice or your going to get your ass kicked

          1. This website isn’t the whole Nintendo community, it doesn’t matter anyway, hopefully they post about upcoming exclusives so cry babies likes you get frustrated again.

  8. Blah, don’t need one. I do need my Blue Yarn Yoshi from japan though! !!!!!!!! Should be here any day.

    1. Your disgust for gays prevents anything from being valid. Don’t even bother to comment anymore. I’ll always be there.

      1. I know you will CAPTAIN CATTLE COMMANDER! And trust me bro, you’ll have to try much, much harder than that weak ass sauce. Considering you actually have no fucking clue about what disgusts me and what doesn’t ill let you have this tiny moment in time. Feel better?

    1. Ever thought they posts these articles for their American viewers? Cuz thanks to MyNintendoNews, I, an American, didn’t miss out on Palutena.

    1. Waifu is a term used by people who will never go anywhere or do anything cool. To call a cartoon/anime/video game character your Waifu is the stupidest thing ever.

      1. I don’t know about that but I can tell you what is definitely one of the stupidest things ever that a majority of the world can agree on: an assumption of a complete stranger. He could be just trying to have fun. In the words of the late Heath Ledger as the Joker, why so serious?

  9. Don’t get tooo excited. It’s a nice amiibo, but her eyes are pretty… bleh. I]ve seen probably close to 30 in-store, and only a single one of them had decent eyes- but even they looked a little weird.

  10. I wonder at what time did Palutena’s stock finally ran out US time. *shrug* For anyone that missed her, I know how you feel. *grumbles at the fact he missed Lucina* ARGH!!!

    1. If NoA is smart (which is dubious at the time of writing), she and other rare characters will get restocks. Ness, Jigglypuff, Charizard, and Wario have all gotten some recently, others will follow suit.

…At least they better- I want my damn Shulk and Pit.

      1. I don’t trust Nintendo any further than I can throw them these days. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Speaking of the Shulk amiibo, I’m so glad I got him when I did. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have anything unlocked in my collection vault on Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. I get 3 tokens from him every day. With play coins, you can only get 1 token for every 5 play coins. -.- No clue how many Streetpass gives you because I don’t come across enough people to even know. So I hope they restock Shulk again soon for everyone who is in my position with XC3D.

        1. That is one reason I want Shulk, is XC3D. I get why you don’t trust Nintendo now, I am the same way these days as well. But I think that with amiibo, most of the blame is NoA. The States are the only country that get amiibo that have awful stock issues (I know other places have issues as well, but we have the worst).

          1. As I said once before, I feel bad for anyone that doesn’t have Shulk & wants to unlock every music track & model in collection mode. Not sure if it’s true but according to the Xenoblade wiki, you get 99 tokens for reaching level 99. I guess I’ll find out if it’s true or not when I reach level 99 soon…ish. (I’m at level 80/81 right now.)

      2. I can’t imagine how the people that want to use Lucina, Marth, Ike, & Robin on Code Name STEAM feel. Least the ones that still own the game & play it, anyway. lol

            1. They’re only allowing 2 per street address. So unless you’re having them shipped to different locations, prepare to have a lot of cancellations.

Then again, I don’t actually believe you. You’re just a tiny little man who says “big boy” words to sound cool. Learn some new vocabulary.

    1. Knowing you, that’s no surprise.

You love KI, perhaps you have insider Info on Pit amiibo? I have been searching for him everywhere to no avail.

  11. Ignoring the tiresome and frustrating error pages, Palutena was available for 65 minutes. That’s a pretty decent window. At least it was a reasonable launch, and not instantly sold out like other exclusives.

    1. Or nonexclusive they just underproduced like every fire emblem character. And those actually unlock things in other games.

  12. The fact there are people in these comments.. complaining that this site informed others of this event.. REALLY goes to show just how pitiful some people can become.

You’re complaining that you can’t hog a $13 Nintendo figure to yourself. Go look in the mirror and try not to feel like a loser. Good luck.

This product was not exclusive to entitled scalper scum.

    1. Y’know what. You brought up something I didn’t really think about at first. The people here whining about this article are probably also the same filth that go online, order dozens of these amiibo, and then turn around & sell them on amazon & ebay for more than they were originally worth.
