Beatbuddy will launch on Wii U later today, August 5, in Europe to celebrate the start of the gamescom 2015 trade fair in Germany. The action-adventure game will be available via the Nintendo eShop, but it won’t arrive in North America until later this month. It revolves around a character named Beatbuddy, who embarks on a quest to save his companions and his own mortality. Players can interact with the in-game environment and creatures to open paths and solve puzzles throughout their journey.
