Looks like that Spanish retailer listing was correct as today UK retailer GAME has confirmed that there will be a Shovel Knight amiibo figure. The actual figure will work across a number of games including future Nintendo titles from Yacht Club Games. The amiibo is going to be available for pre-order tomorrow and will be released on November 27th.

i still think that shadow should be in smash. It is quite easy to differentiate hime from sonic, e.g give him his ranged ‘chaos attacks’ or melee ones perhaps, and make his smash, chaos control, different from the trophy one, and different from the slow down time item. but then again… he doesnt have to be in ssb4 unless he wins the fighter ballot. Nintendo should atleast include 2 characters from each franchise in ssb4 in the game.

I think people need to understand that the Smash Poll overall is just for Sakurai and co. To figure out what characters are heavily requested. The winner may not even be implemented into the game.
