Japan: Nintendo 3DS Sells 48K And Wii U Sells 11K

This week’s Japanese sales charts are now in courtesy of Media Create. As many had expected Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King jumped into the number one spot fending off the popular Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. There were a number of new releases this week including Until Dawn on the PlayStation 4 and Famicom Remix Best Choice on Nintendo 3DS to spice up the charts a bit. With regards to hardware the Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling system shifting 48K and was followed by the PlayStation 4. Here’s the best-selling games this week.

  1. Nintendo has always held the edge everywhere. Their games are just that good. Square Enix needs to realize who really plays their games. That FF15 is beginning to look Nintendo next console bound.

    1. You can’t compare Nintendo handhelds to their consoles to warrant support for the latter. The 3DS is cheaper, and there are far more games and support for it. Simply because a game does well on the 3DS doesn’t mean it will do well on the console.

    1. Theres so many anime games and RPG on the PS4 in Japan. I know cause i saw them on the PS store. Thats why is ps4 is selling well in Japan

    2. Is because theres so many anime RPG games. On ths PS4. Ik cause i have a PS4 and is not Region Lock. I see alot in the ps store.
