Star Fox Zero is the upcoming Wii U title that is being developed by respected development studio, Platinum Games. If you’ve been on various forums and social networks you will have noticed a number of people discussing the game’s basic visual style. However, Nintendo director Yugo Hayashi has told EDGE that it is because it’s “the first time players will be using two screens like this on the Wii U, that led us to decide to base the graphical design on Lylat Wars.” He also mentioned that he feels that “seeing the Arwing, which everyone is so familiar with, transform naturally into a land-based Walker will be a fun and exciting new experience.” Star Fox Zero launches on November 20th.

I’m sorry but i have to say the same. The Graphics are not on par of what we’ve been seeing in WiiU Games. I feel even MK8 looks better, the same as Pikmin3, and so on. I know they can push more in the graphics part, but that will take time. This is a rush game i guess, people want it this year, so..
Overall looks good, but not that good as i though it could be. WiiU can push better graphics.
I don’t know if they’re lazy or not.. but one thing is for sure. Platinum Games are respected devs, and in this one they fail. :(
They’re going to be mixed reactions when the game is released, and is not going to sell as expected. I guess 1 million units sold for the next year.
I guess Nintendo doesn’t care about adhering to their seal of quality anymore. Splatoon has shown them they can rush a $60 game out before it’s complete & still sell millions of copies. Like the Wii, Splatoon will be seen as another long term failure because even though it sold like hotcakes, it made Nintendo arrogant.

Excuses, excuses– the game looks terrible, it shouldn’t even be cartoonish, nobody cares about dual screen gaming and it would seem it’s sapping the power of the console and holding this title back, and Star Fox absolutely needs to stick to being a flight franchise. Miyamoto has said in the past of development that developers should stick to the concept and not pile on ideas. It seems they should have taken that advice here. Nintendo should take a look at what other star fighter titles are doing these days.

Lol BS. Remember when 3DS first came out? People didn’t just flock to it and go “Ooh! Dual screens! Innovation!!!” … It’s the games that people care about (like Pokemon, Mario, etc) that made it pick up in sales. Take those away, and I can assure you it would have far less sales. Also, are you really trying to include Wii U? Lol! No! Not even Nintendo cares about the Gamepad anymore. Most games just slap on a map or mirror the image of the TV. Some games don’t even use it all.
I think the dual screen gaming looks cool. Besides, Remember how everyone complained about wind waker being too cartoony so nintendo made twilight princess to satisfy those types. So they’ll probably make a starfox that you would prefer too. It’s all good.

No, I’m pretty sure Miyamoto himself said there’s no online multiplayer right out of the box. He said they MIGHT add it later after release.
Poor guy probably thinks those groups of friends who huddled on the couch all night to play SF64’s multiplayer as kids can do the same now 20 years later…

I like it, too, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to like everything about it. The quality should be a lot better & should not look like a Wii game. I demand to only have to pay 40-50 bucks if it’s just going to continue to look like a Wii game.

I’m not a huge Star Fox fan, but I loved the original and Star Fox 64. And I even enjoyed Assault. So I might give this one a try. Though I hate any game that forces gamers to use the Gamepad. So, I hope you can use the Pro Controller as well.
