Check Out The New Zygarde Formes In Detail

After the early reveal of the new Zygarde formes in CoroCoro magazine, details of the formes can now be found on Pokemon.com. It also provides an explanation as to why Greninja suddenly looks like Ash, and it’s to do with the bond between the two that changes Greninja’s appearance. Here’s the images and detail from the website:

zygarde-cell

Zygarde Cell: This stage has been identified as the single Cells that make up Zygarde. Cells do not possess any will or thought processes. They’re found scattered throughout the region. Since they can’t use any moves, researchers question whether they can even be called Pokémon!

zygarde-core

”Zygarde Core: At this stage, this aspect of Zygarde is little more than a part of the Pokémon’s brain. Unlike the Cells, the Cores are self-aware and can communicate with Cells and other Cores via telepathy. When a change occurs in the local region’s ecosystem, Cores have been known to take action.”

zygarde-10%-forme

“Zygarde 10% Forme: Zygarde 10% is the Forme that the Zygarde Core takes when it gathers 10% of the Cells nearby. Capable of traveling over 60 mph (100 km/h), it defeats enemies with its sharp fangs and its incredible speed.”

Zygarde-50%-forme

“Zygarde 50% Forme: This Legendary Pokémon watches over and maintains the local ecosystem. Until recently, this was the only known Forme of Zygarde. In actuality, this Forme only has 50% of the Cells in its structure.”

zygarde-complete-forme

“Zygarde Complete Forme: This is the perfect Forme that Zygarde takes when the Core gathers 100% of the Cells. When the ecosystem is under threat, and the Core concludes that the 50% Forme will be unable to deal with it, the Core takes on the Complete Forme. Its power is said to be greater than that of the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal!”

Ash-Greninja

”Ash-Greninja: Plus, Ash’s Greninja takes on a mysterious new appearance in the latest season! Ash-Greninja is the form that Greninja takes when the bond between it and Ash is raised to the limit. The strength of their bond changes Greninja’s appearance, and it takes on the characteristic look of Ash’s attire. This phenomenon is also said to have happened just once several hundred years ago in the Kalos region, but it remains shrouded in mystery.”

The post on Pokemon.com also advises that the anime will be coming to Japan on October 29th, and it also states to keep checking back for updates for North America and Europe. Could all this be a sign of a new Pokémon game?

    1. Poor Wii U in japan

Looks Sony kill in TGS 2015

      Gravity rush 2

      Yakuza 6 /remster

      KOF 3D for PS4

Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna PS4

      Toukiden 2

And of course a huge price drop $299. Not looks good for WII U right now.

      Thoughts?

        1. While I’m really excited about Gravity Rush 2 being official now (loved the first one), it is indeed tragic for the Vita. Really unfortunate how poorly Sony handled the system, it had great potential.

          1. Tell me about it. I haven’t used that turd in a long time. I was keeping it because I was hoping Gravity Rush 2 and Tearaway 2 got announced for them. Oh well, Im definitely selling it now.

            1. Understandable. Personally, I’ll keep mine, I actually still play on it rather often, thanks to the PS1 classics and indie games. But other than those, there really isn’t much going on for it, unfortunately, and you don’t even necessarily need a Vita to play those. It’s just the more convenient way to do so, especially on the go or on vacation (used mine a lottt on my last vacation, actually).

    1. It just hit me… Didnt digimon do something similar? Where they fuse with their monster or something? I’m not sure though… I haven’t watched that show since I was a kid.

      1. Oh wow, you’re right. As far as I can remember, they started doing that in Digimon Tamers. Haven’t watched it in a reaaally long time either though.
But yea, Digimon really did do it first. :p

  1. Ofc Ash will get this “Once in X years” event, he’s just THAT SPESHUUUUUL

Wait next ? Ash will be revealed as the Jesus of this world ?

  2. The time travel, the geological crises, the rare events that never happen except once a year at least for ash, etc. Instead of re-doing the same things over and over, all the while trying to top the last iteration, why not actually do it over?

Just reboot the whole thing. Take us back to Pallet Town and just go down a different route. Make it be 10 years before and we could follow Ash/Red’s dad. Things would be familiar but not, we could get background information and origins on things we already know about. Seems WAY better than contuining to add all these new secret all powerful guardians or whatever

  3. mfw pokemon tries to get on that cellular level. ‘These are debated over if they are even pokemon’. Frikkin you have living chandeliers, get your unicellular organism out of here.

  4. yeah ash have awsome pokemon anyway there might be some small evidence between zygrade anime and the game but we don’t know if nintendo is gonna show pokemon Z because everyone is still talking about it.

  5. I wonder if they’ll implement a feature in the game to go with Ash’s Greninja, when you train your Greninja to max happiness (And maybe use some item on it) then it’ll resemble your trainer.
