Today is a very special day as it marks the 126th birthday of the Kyoto based company. Nintendo was formed on September 23rd 1889 by Fusajiro Yamauchi and has gone from strength to strength since then with the release of the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1983 to the current craze which is amiibo. We’ve now got a new president, Tatsumi Kimishima, and a brand new system called the NX which is due to be revealed by Nintendo next year. Happy 126th Birthday, Nintendo!

Even if Nintendo gets out of gaming, they’ll do another business venture. Before they made cards, then hotels, then toys, now it’s consoles. If consoles don’t work out then they’ll probably get into movies, furniture, fashion, etc.
