Not sure why this is news. These things have literally been out for years. Hot Topic has had em stocked alongside the NES, Gameboy, TMNT and BMO backpacks for quite a while. Pretty sure Midtown Comics in New York stocks them too.

WHOA NOW. Hang on, did you not hear about a girl in the UK who was sent home cause she had a WONDER WOMAN LUNCH BOX!!! Cause the school said superhero’s beat up bad guys so it’s to violent. NO WAY IN HELL a SHIELD backpack would be acceptable lol.
Well shields are meant for defense, not offense, so I don’t see why it should be considered violent. But if superhero related stuff is not allowed because of them having to beat up bad guys to stop them, I guess they’d be stupid enough to ban a shield shaped backpack, too.

I don’t know, the shields design is great and all, but that doesn’t mean it’s gonna look good in every shape or form. I personally wouldn’t wear the backpack in public either honestly, looks too overblown for my taste, but each to their own, I suppose.
Oh lordy, that thing is overblown, and I mean big. This guy looked about 5’11 and that thing looked like a damn turtle shell on him, I see it in a whole new light now XD
I’ve got a Hylian Shield, in green, as a carrying case for my n3DS XL, so I’m good.

I HAVE IT ALREADY!!!! I am in México and got mine in a local retailer (Gameplanet) for $899 pesos, around $53 dollars. There were also a lunchox with the same material and shape for $499 pesos. I am sooooo happy with it, BUT it has to be cleaned with cold water and treated with a special oil that returns it’s color as the material tends to bend, fadiing away the blue color. Also the shape is kind of unconfortable for books, but it can be overcome.
Man I remember when a dollar was 10 pesos. So when I see numbers like that I still think of that conversation. Boy have things changed.
