It has been revealed today that Junichi Masada will be making an appearance on Japanese children television show Pokemon no Uchi. Masada has appeared on the show before and sometimes reveals special announcements. It’s not apparent if that’s the reason why he is appearing on the show this time around. The special episode is set to air on November 15th.

I hope that maybe a new handheld Nintendo console would be releasing next year. Imagine a Pokemon game as a launch title for a Nintendo handheld.

Wishful thinking, honestly. It’d be great, but I don’t see it happening.
I wish Game Freak took their time between games. Gen 6 was my least favorite gen overall (even after they tried to pander to first-game fans so hard), they need to polish the new games and make them feel more ‘adventury’ again.
If Nintendo doesn’t save the announcement of gen 7 for the next direct, I’m going to lose my shit. It feels like we’ve had a steady supply of announcements and information these past weeks that would fit nicely in a new direct.
Then again, were X/Y and ORAS revealed on a direct? I think ORAS were, but I’m not too sure about X/Y.

Honestly, I don’t remember it. I do remember when they revealed the starters, but not the game itself. I’m assuming it was in the same direct, which only makes it weirder.
X/Y revealed in a Pokemon Nintendo Direct.
Then I suppose they’ll follow the trend and save it for later. Those kind of announcements are why they decided to make those videos in the first place.
Personally, I don’t think it’s gen 7. Or at least I hope not, since I coul barely enjoy gen 5, since the 3DS was already on the corner. It felt too short.
