Koei Tecmo Has Made Collaboration Deal With Very Big Western IP

Koei Tecmo, the developers behind the successful Musou series, have announced that they have recently signed a collaboration deal with a very big western franchise. The company wouldn’t hint as to which franchise it was involved with, but they have said numerous times that they would like to work on the Star Wars series. Whatever it is, it is going to be big according to the company.

Koei Tecmo also said that they have made a collaboration deal with a very big Western IP and look forward to bringing us news on this large scale collaboration in the future.

  1. What’s Musou? I don’t think it’s Star Wars. I think EA has the rights to Star Wars games already. They’re doing well with it I might add, Battlefront is looking to be a serious contender for GOTY.

    1. Musou refers to the Warriors games and crossovers, ie Samurai Warriors, Dynasty Warriors, Gundam Warriors, One Piece: Pirate Warriors, Dragon Quest Heroes, and of course, Hyrule Warriors.

  2. Rogue Master XenoRidley X3

Please be Star Wars. I’d love to play as a Jedi Master using the gameplay of the Musou series as Jedi Knights would be perfect for the over the top attacks that many characters in these games use.
