  1. Well, there aren’t many new games on wiiu. I’m actually surprised it even has 9k. But the upcoming games for the remainder of the year won’t really give a boost, unless the reveal the unnounced games in a direct that needs to happen now

      1. Such an over used statement, the wii u is not dead, it still has ‘some’ life. It may not be your system but others may think opposite. It be alot better if Nintendo themselves did more for it. Do the same they did for 3ds put games fans actually wanted on it that arnent just upgraded versions.

        1. That’s happening now. It’s DIW at mere 10 million in 3 years with no more decent (not good or great) games coming and the kiddy-fied PS4-nerfed NX is right around the corner.

          1. See random trolling. You don’t even know what the hell the NX is, how can you say it will be good or bad? Everything we’ve heard recently about the NX has been the opposite of what your claiming, yet you still want to try and hold on to long gone rumors from unreliable sources. For all we know the NX could be amazing and sell really well. Oh and apparently Zelda U isn’t a good game that’s coming to the Wii U that hypes out the roof everytime it’s shown, because there are no more even decent games coming out for the Wii U.

            1. Zelda U will be a double-release on both the Wii U and the NX, you can count on that. There’s no way in hell they’re making it exclusive to the Wii U. As such, most people will buy it on the new system just like they did when Twilight Princess came out on the GC and Wii. Most likely what will happen is they release a bare-bones version for the Wii U that uses a little bit of the Gamepad for stupid shit like an extra map, while making the NX version the best it can possibly be.
Also, stranga isn’t off with describing the NX as being “PS4-nerfed”. The recent news about it has said it will be “comparable to the PS4/Xbone”. Considering that those systems were released 2 years ago, if the NX is similarly specced, then it’ll be 4 years behind when released. I know that Nintendo doesn’t seem to care anymore about competing in terms of power and tech, but they can’t keep doing the same strategy that made the Wii U a failure. And don’t bother saying, “but the Wii wasn’t as powerful and look what happened!” The Wii was a one-hit wonder – a gimmick (a very GOOD gimmick) that was incredibly well-marketed. You could easily see what made it unique and why even your grandma would want to pick one up and play with it. That sort of appeal isn’t easily replicated nor does it have persistent viability. The entire “motion controls” gimmick was just a brief stepping stone to VR, which WILL have lasting appeal. Nintendo thought they were on to something, but as with the Wii U, they were wrong.
Stranga may be dour, pessimistic, and exaggerated at times with his morose wording, but he isn’t off base. The Wii U is dying, and will be dead by the end of next year, if not earlier. Nintendo realizes this, and everyone with half a brain should as well.

              1. Hey since you obviously run Nintendo and can tell what games are going to nx can you tell me if metriod, mother, luigis mansion; and Bayonetta3 go to nx as well?

Every console has its own Zelda dying or not wii u will get it as an exclusive, or timed exclusive. Tp was only ported because the hardware was almost the same. Nx from rumors sound nothing like the wii u. Skyward sword is not on wiiu. It only took Nintendo once to do something and people jump on it quickly

                1. Well, considering a simple google search shows that “Metroid Prime series producer Kensuke Tanabe revealed that there will be no home console Metroid Prime games until Nintendo’s NX at the earliest”, and given the fan demand, I suppose that answers part of your question? But it’s a silly rhetorical question in general that you’re asking in order to try to sound witty, but only come across as sounding like a dumbass.
” Tp was only ported because the hardware was almost the same. Nx from rumors sound nothing like the wii u. ” Ok then, and you know the internal structure of the NX and whether it’s possible to port a game to it, especially given the amount of time they’ve delayed the game? Are you an idiot? Do you really think that Nintendo has delayed it this much simply to refine it solely for the Wii U? Are you truly, honestly THAT ignorant? And Skyward Sword wasn’t ported to the Wii U because 1) it was released a full year before the Wii U and they weren’t going to delay it for a double release, 2) Nintendo didn’t need to port it because Wii sales were through the roof and 3) there’s no need to port it to the Wii U because the system is dying. Good fucking grief.

                  1. Wow seems like I made someone salty, you’ll have your opinion, and I’ll have mine.

And I thought the metroid guy was considering it, this is all not confirmed even on my end. Zelda wii u is a theory of speculation. And is the petty name calling necessary, seriously can people carry across a normal debate without need to insult others it’s so immature and uncalled for.

                    1. Hey, I just figured people were more logical when it came to actually interpreting and understanding the signs of what will most likely occur instead of trying to paint a more rosy and unrealistic picture, but I can stop dispensing the insults as soon as you stop dispensing with your original sarcasm and uneducated guessing. It’s also amusing given how people have jumped on the “hate stranga” bandwagon, calling him a troll and unintelligent and telling him he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, when that’s clearly not the case. He’s just not so naive as to believe the Wii U will last longer than a year, and to think otherwise is ignorance. He may be pessimistic and the crabby “get off my lawn” old man here, but he’s being realistic.
Zelda WILL come to the NX, unless Nintendo is so completely out of it in which case it’ll be one of the most colossal mistakes in gaming we’ve seen in a while – but I give them more credit than that right now. There’s no other reason for them to delay the game this long. They’re far too late to the party with getting it on the Wii U, so they’re not going to mess up the chance to launch the NX with it.

                      1. I thought I read something that said they could be doing other things to it.they’ve (internet articles) brought up a resort of the games art style, adding new features and yes porting the game to nx. To me I can see it as at least a timed exclusive. That way they can see if the game really boosts the wii u. After sometime release the nx version. Wiiu owners won’t be as mad, and the nx will have it also.

                2. Actually that’s not true, all the rumors are about it absolutely smashing the PS4 in terms of power. Stop talking about things you don’t know the facts about.

                  1. haha, ok. Link the source – aside from an unknown source that can’t be confirmed. If Nintendo is planning on including another gimmick with the device, then it will naturally have to focus on that aspect instead of pushing the tech specs that specifically relate to power. Even if it IS just as powerful or slightly more, that’s still 3-4 years behind where it’ll be at on release. So sure, try arguing semantics, or pulling anonymous bullshit quotes out of your ass, it won’t matter – the NX won’t be a powerhouse in terms of tech specs in the context of when it’s released in comparison to the rest of the competition and the overall standards in the industry. Possibly more powerful than the PS4? Sure. But that’s not saying much for a 2016/2017 release. Perhaps you should follow your own advice there, dude.

          2. Wow hey, it WOULD be a lot better, wouldn’t it? Seems pretty logical. You’d think Nintendo would have done that from the start, right? But they didn’t, and they won’t in the future, because they know better than to support a dying system.

    1. Doesn’t really matter if the Wiiu or NX dies, we have PS4 and Xboxone lead the games industry eventually if Nintendo fails all of the games will appear on both consoles that will be cool to see them on 2 other platforms.
Well there’s 3 games coming out, look pretty good and they should do well Rodea, Mario tennis, xenoblade chronicles x already splatoon, mario maker were million sellers and mario party 10 did ok.

      1. Like I want the company that freakin PIONEERED VIDEO GAMES AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MODERN AGE OF GAMING to be put in the hands of Microsoft and Sony. No. Especially with Microsoft which pretty much just lets third parties take care of all there games and only actually makes like 1 or 2 games a year themselves. Plus they have way to much bank to go out of business now, there making loads of profit off of the Wii U alone, and it’s not selling well. Mostly because there software stinking sells like hot cakes. It’s crazy how there software can easily compete in sales with Microsoft and Sony but there hardware can’t. (Talking mostly exclusives here and less about 3rd party.)

          1. Man you’re really into this Master and Slave thing aren’t you? If i didn’t know better that’s a sexual fetish right there! XD

      2. Interesting when people make these claims when Nintendo said if they not making hardware then they not making games and would do something else. Nintendo adjust as a company. They wasn’t always a gaming company. They were a card company and had love hotels and other things. So keep the dream alive with nintendo on other platforms it is very very slim that will ever happen.

    2. Ps vita is doing good and I am ordering one or more games from eBay on top of the 3 I ordered already and it would be nice if God eater would be come over to the states

                              1. Urgh… FINE. YOU WIN. I’m going to the store right now to grab my own PlayStation Vita® with its corresponding Memory Stick. I cannot wait to try some of the games of this wonderful console, such as Gravity Rush, Persona 4 Golden or Soul Sacrifice. The PlayStation Vita® is such a marvelous machine!

              1. It looks like Nintendo’s plan to delay games, eliminate 3rd party and piss off long-time fans is working! :]

                  1. Ok. I half-disagree. You don’t have to lose “all” your fans or you’re doing something wrong. Nintendo, indeed hasn’t lost all their fans, so things may be going to plan.

I’m still Jaded since they did say they would support fans like myself, and then failed miserably to do so, but yeah.

                1. The Wii U actually has a fairly good library of games by now, it’s more or less just this holiday they messed up by delaying Starfox and Zelda to next year. There’s still a lot of really good games you can get. I recommend splatoon, Smash, Mario Kart, WWHD, Mario maker, ect.

                2. Yeah. Honestly, jumping in now isn’t the worst idea. You didn’t go through the shit some of the rest of us did.

I highly recommend Mass Effect 3 if you like adventure/RPG shooters. It was a launch title, I’ve played through 3 times and still go online to play.

ZombiU is the Modern definition of survival horror. Glitches are fixed, and the servers just went back up.

Little Inferno if you can get it for $5. (I loved it for $15)

There are a lot of titles by now, and if you want to save some money, get a refurb FROM NINTENDO directly. It’s like-new, and is only $200. Plus it comes with games.

And give NintendoLand a go, especially if you have local friends.

If I didn’t have so much invested in eShop downloads, I’d sell you mine!

                  1. I’m getting the 32gb with the Mario Land included. I played it with my cousin and enjoyed it. I know everyone seems to love the super Mario Galaxy games, but I’m currently playing the first one and some of the planet’s make me nauseous. It’s a beautiful game so far, but I preferred Mario Sunshine. I’ve been on the fence about getting one, but there’s a few games coming for it that I think justifies owning one. I owe $100 on it, I’ll have it in a week or two.

              3. Rogue Master XenoRidley X3

Poor paidenthusiast. He was so hopeful that Super Mario Maker would pull the Wii U out of the gutter. And it did… for a week or two. But like a few others, he was hoping it’d be the saving grace of the console. Odd. This sounds vaguely familiar. Oh yeah! I remember a time I thought this same thing about Mario Kart 8 & Super Smash Bros 4 Wii U! :/ Apparently some people still haven’t learned their lesson: don’t get your hopes up that Nintendo will pull off a miracle & “save” the Wii U. *begin sarcasm* But least it’s making a profit, right? *end sarcasm*

                1. I’ll be the first person to honesty say I didn’t think the game would do much in way of moving consoles, but I was wrong. I’m see lots of people going for that bundle with 8bit Mario. I act convinced a lady to get one for her son a week ago….

Oh my goodness, I’ve become what I beheld..

                  😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
