Here’s A Closer Look At The Wolf Link Amiibo

Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be getting a HD remaster for the Wii U on March 4th, 2016.

Along with the announcement of the title, we got a glimpse at a brand new amiibo – Wolf Link. Wolf Link is an alternate form of Link from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, in the title Midna can ride on his back to assist with opening doors and also aid in combat.

Since the Direct, more images have emerged of the new amiibo, you can check them out in the gallery below:

        1. It’s the reason I’m able to find in store preorders on Amiibo. So I understand.

I walked in the other day to pick up my Rodea preorder, they assumed and asked ‘Fallout 4?’…NOPE.

  1. The CD Soundtrack is the only reason I’ll be preordering this bundle instead of just waiting for it to release. But I hope it’s a more complete soundtrack than that last one Nintendo offered, which only had like 7 tracks. That CD was just a tease.

Sadly, I don’t think that any Nintendo game soundtrack has ever featured EVERY track of music from a game (though that 2-disc Paper Mario soundtrack might have). Take the old Donkey Kong 64 soundtrack for example. It was originally only 1 CD. But I manually recorded another full CD (from that game) of music that wasn’t on the official soundtrack. So basically, MOST of Nintendo’s CD soundtrack are just samplers. Even the Smash Bros. CD’s for Wii U and 3DS barely scratched the surface of all the music in those games.

  2. I can’t wait to see how this amiibo will transfer to the new Zelda U. Will it be kind of like Mass Effect? Does this mean Zelda U is a direct sequel to Twilight Princess?

  3. Rogue Master XenoRidley X3

Is that a standalone Wolf Link amiibo package? Please tell me that’s a yes so I can skip Twilight Princess HD just in case it’s only getting a graphical/quality update.
