The wait for the next installment in the Xenoblade series is almost over. Xenoblade Chronicles X is due out on December 4th in both North America and Europe. The game boasts a planet-sized open world, and a robust character customization tool set that allows you to truly take part in humanity’s battle for survival on a dangerous new planet. Nah that very small part doesn’t affect my hype or plsyability of the game in even the slightest I am too hyped for this game and now of course nintendo shouldn’t have done it but only well I am still getting the game now as long as they don’t censored parts of the game then I’m fine with small non game changing censorships and all monte do fans should know nintendo always tries to stay on the safe side so they get little to no criticism at all

If they were changing stuff that big, I’d be concerned too.
But this stuff is just cosmetic/aesthetic stuff; it doesn’t ruin the rest of the game.
I’ve sent a letter telling Nintendo that they need to patch the stuff back in to preserve sales, but I’m not going skip the game over it, like some people here have.XD

But if they switched around character personalities to match gay marriage being taken out, then that’d be something I’d skip the game over.
You can be gay and have romance without getting married; it’d be switching them from being gay to being straight that I’d have an issue with.

Censoring a game is ridiculous. If I saw proof that it was definitly going to change the game to “M” (which in itself is ridiculous) then I would see their point.
What’s done is done, and I can’t afford to vote with my wallet on this one. It’s the culmination of why I bought the WiiU to begin with. Bayonetta and X. That’s the hook they got me with, and I’ll be damned if I don’t own them both!

I think you’re correct. I’m only now buy one. I would think it’s been cycling long enough to get lucky.
I imagine there are some day one updates, but nothing like it was for year one buyers. A friend of mine just got a Wii U, and said it had like ten minutes of updates. It also depends a lot on how fast your internet connection is.
But I imagine there might still be some older model Wii U’s one the market, so I guess it really depends where you buy it from. Or just buy a newer bundle. Don’t take what I say as fact though, Im just going by what a friend told me.
Yeah that’s fine. I’m about to own a new Wii U, the packed with Super Mario 3D world. I’m excited for several games to start enjoying. I just wanted to see if the initial 4-5gigabyte update for the online features. I did a little searching, at one point it was talked about that later model’s would have them. We’ll see, as long as it doesn’t affect game play I’m good.
The great news for you, is X will not be your only new game. And now, 3yrs later, you’ll have quite a few games to play. :D

Ha! There’s a few games I plan on getting for Wii U. I never got the chance to finish Wind Waker, and it’s the only Zelda game for home consoles I’ve never owned, so it’ll be worth it for me. Little Devil Inside is going to be epic. New Zelda U eventually. DK:Tropical Freeze of coarse. I’m sure there’s other’s.
Oh yeah. Be sure to check out a couple indies! No where near the shovel-ware the Wii had.

Brace for the worst, but all major consoles have them. Unfortunately it’s the norm now.
My dad got a PS4 the other week and it had like 30 min of updates. And it was the new Nathan drake bundle as well.
Yeah. My new console had like… 40 gigs in updates, (That was including a couple games, but still!) I’m on a limited data plan where I live in the country, so I was stranded at my parents house while I used their internet, Lol.
It was all good. My dad just had knee surgery, and we had a couple laughs watching some Adam West Batman episodes XD
This commercial though… Holy fucking… When did Nintendo started doing good advertising all of a sudden?
Well, when you have a game as badass as Xenoblade, it’s pretty hard to not make a good commercial for it..
I’m shocked they didn’t fuck it up. But then again, since they censored something of the game & also removed something, they have to make sure the commercials are badass. Otherwise, the faults in the game are going to be more noticeable than the things they did right. Let’s hope the marketing doesn’t fizzle out after a month of release, though, like it did with Bayonetta & Fatal Frame 5 because I haven’t seen one single Fatal Frame 5 commercial on TV, or on the internet. :/
The flaw with that idea is that only the people who keep up with gaming news (like us) know about the censorship and bust slider removal. Most people who will eventually see this commercial won’t know about that, and likely won’t care enough to call Nintendo out on it or even consider it a flaw.

The advertising is too fucking late they should have been advertising this game all year or at the least throughout the second half or at the very least a few months ahead of time but still getting day one and I may get the special addition now or just get the special edition stuff separately at a much later time and I will get the guide also but much later
You really can’t make a commercial until the item is out. Otherwise, people will go to the store to get said item, only to find out it won’t be out for several more months. It would just confuse people on the release date.
Didn’t stop them from doing that with Splatoon. I remember first seeing commercials for it a good month before release.

I’m sure Nintendo, microsoft, and Sony and of course other companies have advertised months possibly even a year in advance for a product or products and as soon as we found out the release date Nintendo could have advertised but they didn’t but I well this is all on them if this game doesn’t reach sales expectations

It’s called adding the release date of said game in bold letters & numbers like they do with movie trailers. It’s called effective marketing. The Advertise timing is perfect IMAO, the best part is that an harcore game is the big title for Wii U this season.

Wow, what a amazing commercial for Europe and America, oops i bought a Mario Kart 8 Splatoon bundle few days ago, i should of bought Xenoblade Chronicles X pack.
This game will end 2015 so nicely is the best game this season, Well done Nintendo for releasing this in time for christmas and hope this will sell 1 million units as expected.
I hate to say it, but I’m worried Nintendo drove off most of their mature audiences…on the otherhand, what else are WiiU owners gonna buy? They kinda have their install base by the balls, especially by delaying everything else.

I’m worried, too. They’ve already drove most of me out the door with one foot still in the doorway. Now that I got the PS4, if the NX launches in the middle of the PS4’s life, I’m going to hold off the NX til it gets enough games to warrant a purchase. Sorry but the launch line up isn’t going to work next time, Nintendo.
I for one will wait until it gets the F-Zero game we’ve been pleading for for a decade. If it’s a launch title, so be it, that’s when I’m indulging.
The first commercial, I thought I was watching an “Honest Movie Trailer” video, Lol.
I think the music makes the video, and that’s true for feature films as well.

Well don’t know about mature games well there is few titles for 2015 to buy and all of them are great and different to other platform games:
1)Mario Party 10 (never played it best party game ever)
2)Splatoon (one of the most original and new game only on Wiiu)
3)Super Mario Maker (Only game to create levels and share to the world)
4)Rodea (Yuji Naka game with boy flying in skies and lot of puzzles to solve)
5)Mario Tennis Ultra Smash (Solid tennis game with amiibo functionality)
6)Xenoblade Chronicles X (Massive open world game with stunning HD visuals and large
Mechs with swords
So there is plenty of games to enjoy and all of them great, don’t say there is nothing to play and has all of sorts of titles for everyone.
