A representative for Nintendo Europe has informed Reddit user JohnMaus that the data packs for Xenoblade Chronicles X will be available for users to download ahead of the game’s launch on December 4th. The data packs which speed up various things including the load times will be available to download from the European eShop on November 30th. Those of you in North America are able to download them right now.
So, no pre-buy & pre-load for the eShop version ?
I have pre ordered Xenoblade Chronicles X limited edition pack, I make unboxing video on you tube, so I’m not bother with e shop release.
I wonder if this will be the only way to obtain them.
Cool. I’m loving all these pre-install your game or data packs so when it finally releases you don’t have to sit through a long ass downloading & installing screen to get the full experience from the games. Question is… is this something Nintendo has done first for their console or are they just following in Sony & Microsoft’s footsteps with this?
I know Fallout 4 should have had data packs. It’s loading times are unacceptable for 2015.
