Nintendo has confirmed that the next set of Animal Crossing amiibo, which consists of Resetti, Kicks, Blathers and Celeste, will arrive to Europe on January 29th, 2016.

These amiibo are compatible with a number of titles including Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, and Super Mario Maker.

I thought actual Amiibo (not cards) didn’t work with Happy Home Designer? Do they work the same way as the cards?
It says they are compatible with Happy Home Designer on the Nintendo website :) I believe they do work in the same way as the cards.
http://www.nintendo.com/amiibo/compatibility – The other Animal Crossing Amiibo don’t show as compatible with Happy Home Designer, however, these four do (they are near to the bottom of the chart). It doesn’t elaborate on their functionality unfortunately though!
If I’m correct, the amiibo work the same as the card for tyat figure. So if you don’t have an Isabel card you can just use her amiibo instead.

Gimme real Animal Crossing
I won’t be buying any AC amiibo figures. They are the sole reason amiibo Festival exists and that game fails all across the board. I refuse to support such mediocrity and inattentiveness.
