Minecraft: Wii U Edition Players Experiencing Issues With Third-Party Controllers

It looks like a number of Minecraft: Wii U Edition players are experiencing issues when trying to play the game using third-party controllers. One of the encountered problems has to do with the left analog stick not responding properly to control commands. The Wii U GamePad and official Wii U Pro Controllers seem to work just fine though. Minecraft: Wii U Edition is available now on the Nintendo eShop. Its “biggest ever” update will be released sometime next year.

  1. The only third parties that I can even think of that bothered with the Wii U were Madcatz, Hori and Afterglow, none of which make crappy controllers to the tune of the garbage spewed at the Wii. I’d imagine they plan on a fix if it’s become noticed as this big of a problem, I mean loads of third party controllers work with PS4, Xbox One and PC, so it really should be fixed here in the future too, knowing Mojang’s strong history of prompt fixes.

  2. IF THERE IS ONE GROUP OF GAMERS WHO DO NOT USE THIRD PARTY CONTROLLERS ITS NINTENDO FANS

    DISGUSTING-BACKWARDS-HILL BILLY-TRAILERPARK TRASH GAMERS

WHO WOULD USE A THIRD WORLD DESSERT PAD WHEN THERE IS SO SO SO MANY FINE FIRST PARTY PADS TO CHOOSE FROM
DIRTY CHEAP SCUMBAGS POLUTING THETE WIIU WITH DIRTY PADS…

i simply will not buy this game no wii remote and chuck so no mouse pointing no gamepad screen

so F&^K U industry with your shitty games

  3. i have a knock-off wii u pro controller, i do get a few problems like input lag (about half a second) and the d-pad being weird like if i press up it responds to left, right, or down but only a few times. other than those its a decent cheap knock-off controller and yes i should get a real one but too cheap, doesnt mean i wont. btw i only experience those in smash, ac 3&4, xcx, and ng3 re.

  4. Jaded Ridley X3 {I'm not whining, you suckers... *cough* ..poor souls! I've just been driven insane by Nintendo failing me one too many times this gen!} says:

Sucks for those that don’t find the Gamepad or Wii U Pro Controller comfortable to use.

  5. As much of a fail that is, it’s obvious considering only the Pro remote and gamepad are officially supported.

I wish I could use the Wiimote and peripheral as the third player.
